Samsung TV's run their own OS called TIZEN. I can't tell you, if you'll like it or not, compared to your older Android TV as opinions are split. Some rate LG's webOS, some prefer TIZEN or the latest Google TV. It's down to personal preference.

Most TV's have just enough processing power, but tend to have little ram and storage, so can quickly slow down if you install lots of apps and updates. Plus they only tend to get updates and security fixes for a few years.

If your smart TV is feeling a bit slow. Try doing some general house keeping. Delete/Uninstall any old apps or ones you don't use anymore. Then either manually or with an app. Run a cleanup of all cache and temporary files. Exactly the same as you would on an Android phone or tablet.

I have the qn85a in a 65", which i bought last year from Samsung as new/old stock and I love it. Buy it you won't regret it !

I just brought the 50 inch version using John Lewis £30 off £200 plus spend. On top of the 50 inch being on sale. And the happening to have have an untouched ‘open’ one. Love it. Compared to my 2017 early LG 4K. It’s serious good. If you can’t jump to OLED costs it’s a great compromise

They are last years models, the new models launched just recently, and they have a lot of stock of them as they are not selling fast.

I've got the 2021 Samsung QN94A QLED , solid alternative to OLED. My new Samsung S90C OLED is "better" but not so much on the picture quality side of things.

The biggest difference to me was the motion handling, response time, input input when gaming on the PC at 4K 120hz. The QLED was great but OLED technology feels alot smoother (when Gaming)

The contrast still looks impressive due to the Mini LED tech with local dimming but its not perfect, blooming here and there bit no risk of burn so..

Not sure about this QLED but my QN94A gets stupidly bright even at half brightness.

Cracking deal, it’s £560 after cashback on Samsung website via perks at work or blue light but doesn’t have the same warranty.
