It will be get better for all workers and consumers after the election.........and brexit...... X)
if its a tory win i have to believe that youre joking. biggest mistake the dimwitted brits could make.

Surely to job lot a whole nation of people shows you are incredibly stupid especially with Britain's contribution to science, arts, literature etc. I don't know what country you come from but the evidence dictates that you are a cretin but that cannot be extrapolated to indicate all your fellow nationals are the same.

The issue of Europe certainly can't be easily summarised either. Huge problems across Europe with massive debts in many nations. The EU has not been a success in economic terms overall even if it has in maintaining the peace. Whether we are better in our out is certainly debatable at this point but there will be financial pain across much of Europe in the future it's all about timing and severity.

Back on topic I don't see how you get this price. It's advertised as £10 but with forced postage whatever the size of order you can never get that price. Many retailers have free postage when you spend a certain amount and I can't see that option for Sports Direct which I don't get. I noticed some cheap bike accessories and spares online recently but you couldn't use click and collect for them and when you visit the stores they seem to have removed most bike stuff now and what little is there is hugely more expensive than online. I contacted them via email to ask a question recently and got no answer. I feel they would achieve more sales by charging a little more for items and providing free postage for orders over £30 or maybe £50 which is more common practice elsewhere. This is especially annoying when you order many items pay £5 postage and they send you an incomplete order still with the £5 charge which you never get back.

it says, download the app to get the free mug.
didn't get f all!
Well that low life won't get any money from me.
Presumably the cold votes are from the ''Love football but hate Mr Ashley'' people ? I imagine in that case there will be lots more when the geordies have recovered from their celebrations..... well done to Newcastle and their large crowds, helps to boost the coffers of every other club in their division....... until they go back down again without mega money from Mr tight-fisted Ashley ?

people can live together with different cultures and it create unity in diversity.
There is a word called Respect people are forgetting these days .
Yes but for different cultures to live together they need to respect the way we live
You stated earlier we are more than half naked infront of people and children you are obviously
not respecting the way we choose live and imposing your values on our way of life hardly respect is it
This is the same for loads of things ie how we slaughter ,education, laws and many many more things
Hating the way we choose to live is hardly helping to create unity in diversity
I like how you took a dozen posts to fully unveil (pun intended) yourself!

very strange statement not really sure what your on about (or maybe on)
AzizaR
Who said hating?
I just said that women like me don't feel comfortable walking half naked infront of children and people I didn't say anything bad to those who does. It's their choice if they are comfortable.

Obviously your not happy with it reading some of you statements earlier (your words) exposing yourself is living in modern era with secularism Presume you dont like idea of Secularism like in UK and way we choose to dress is hardly exposing yourself .Sorry but our life is not ruled by religion and hope fully never will
Religion has its place but should never rule the way we live we have democracy to pass laws
Sorry but lot of what you say gives definite underlying dislike of the way we live in this country
Dont like to think this but after living in Iran many years and looking at how it is now
as Islamic state compared to how it was few years ago
Now you would be will be condemned to 74 strokes of the lash for not wearing burkini
http://www.wfafi.org/laws.pdf
I know this is the bad side of mainly peaceful and caring Islamic faith but it does exist in the real world

In Wenger we trust :D
plenty of sleeves around 10-15 on amazon @17 inch
hard to know real sizing though as most seem like they are too floppy really
caselogic seem to do one that might be slimmer but its £20+

was looking at cushcase as they claim the fits are customised per model but not heard much about them

Terrible after sales so make sure you get the correct size. Returns policy is awful. Recently tried to return faulty footwear that leaked after 4 hours use and was told that despite returning them in original box and bag that they wouldn't accept them as faulty because I couldn't produce the receipt.
that's perfectly reasonable. How on earth do you think you can return an item without proof of purchase? How are they supposed to know you bought it from them? do you actually think a bag is sufficient evidence? m8, this is the most stupid thing I've read all day.
Have you ever heard of trust ? Just a mad notion but Maybe they could have taken my word for it and besides the faulty items were returned pristine but wet in the original box with sports direct labelling and in the sports direct bag in which they came. When I tried on and bought the shoes, I was naive enough to think that they'd be of satisfactory quality and therefore wouldn't need to retain my receipt. This was naive but I have learned my lesson. Only highlighting this so others can learn from it. Seems like I'm not the only one to have problems with sportsdirect returns policy.
Shops can insist on a receipt to return goods if you simply change your mind.
If the goods are faulty or not fit for purpose the shops have no legal right to demand a receipt. Other proof like a credit card or bank statement can be used.
Legally you are entitled to a refund/repair/replacement wether there is a receipt or not.
you're making it out as though there's a whole host of options. the bank statement is the only other option if the item is defected. in regards to policies, i was referring to the return period and by law that's 30 days. so the receipt or bank statement would be the only valid proof of purchase in the case of a defective item. clearly mildoo mentioned that he only presented the box and bag which gives no indication of proof of purchase or date of purchase.
Did you perhaps work in retail?
The crap your spouting sounds like that of which an employer might drum into their employees.

The return period is not 30 days by law!

There is a 30 day period in which you can demand a refund for faulty goods and after that its at the retailers discretion.

You are still entitled by law to a repair or replacement after 30 days, receipt or no receipt.
Thats why if you try to return something faulty with no receipt they will only offer exchange or credit.

£4.99 to c&c - will these prices be available instore?
Yes avalible instore aswell sorry
At the top of desktop version of the deal's link:
"Selected colours/styles only. Max 20 per customer. Online only. Offer ends Monday 17th April at 23:59 (BST)."
Looks to be online only, unfortunately. I might still pop down and check out my local store though just in case. Oh, and just to keep the argument alive, I'm indifferent to Sports Direct and there management/ethics/return policies or whatever the problem is.

Sorry, not to derail the bickering again but after a trip to my local Sports Direct I found that the same shirts are £30 in store so the deal is indeed online only. Please continue at each other's throats.

They don't know you, why should they trust you? ffs. the box does not mean anything. anyone can put the box in an old bag. if i purchase items from tesco and put it in a Sainsbury's bag, do you think Sainsbury's will let me get a refund? absolutely not. they'll ask for a receipt. this becomes much worse as you mentioned that it is wet and used and therefore they can't even resell it whether you believe it's pristine or not. you bought a cheap shoe from a cheap store. don't expect them to go over and beyond in terms of customer service. I'm all for consumer rights, but there's no way you can hold a corporation responsible because they don't trust you.
Whether the item was cheap or not is irrelevant. The point is they weren't fit for purpose. You don't know me or the shop staff involved so your assumption that they don't know me is incorrect. As for your supermarket comparison, I understand what you're trying to say but these shoes were returned in the box with sports direct labelling making the likelihood of them having been bought in another store very unlikely. Anyway I was disappointed by their lack of willingness to treat a regular customer with some compromise so I'm just highlighting this so others too won't be disappointed by their poor customer service. Thank you for your contribution. You've helped spread the message.

the staff can't use their digression regardless of whether they know you or not. they have policies and instructions which they operate on. also like to stress that yes, maybe there's things like stickers that suggests it's from the store. yet it doesn't mean it's valid. similarly, when you are asked for an ID, there may be things that hint or show that you are the person you say you are but if it's not a valid ID, it won't be accepted.

The reason why i mentioned that it's cheap is because they probably operate in a low profit margin and so essentially, they are cutting customer service in order to make things cheaper. it's pretty **** when you get into these types of situation but thats the nature of how they operate. They just won't do anything from the goodness of their heart as they don't rely on loyalty but cheapness. So that's why i said you can't really fault them for not accepting a return without proof of purchase.

this watch is unbelievably cheap and ugly and low quality button of the barrel type of a device..the screen is so low quality, it's almost as bad as those £10 plastic replica apple watches from eBay china and market stalls..
I came with open mid thinking it might be ok for £50 but checking youtube I'd say it's not even worth £15.
What's a button of barrel and open mid?

Open mid is a term in the game League of Legends. It refers to someone who has raged and given up mid lane. He then says 'Open mid' to allow the enemy team to group up in the mid lane and to push for the win.

I thought that's what it was but wasn't sure. Thanks!

Fact is , The Sun would not be in business if everyone did this so get a grip people

Goodie!
This has been an absolute scam. On Saturday, two stores told me they never had any of the footballs in stock in the first place. Today there were magically about 15 of the footballs on display but they won't honour the voucher because it was valid Saturday only! They didn't care when I said the footballs weren't there on Saturday.

The Express used to do this nasty little trick all the time, and sometimes got caught with their pants down:

On a serious note, anyone who knows anything about fishing will not touch this stuff. It's utter garbage. Seriously poor quality. And please don't tell me you fell for their "rrp" games. oO
Hilarious as ever
Why cold there are some real bargains here, 1000yds of fishing line 50p a spool (15lb,18lb,20lb and 30lb) is a no brainer.

Annoys me when folk vote cold because they don't like the shop. If it's a good price then it's a deal. Heat from me :D.

They do talk a lot of carp. Plaice is full of it...
Only £3?

Is this reel?

My son has some of these for rugby and, for the price, they are decent quality.
Cold as it's Sports Direct. Hot for price. Not sure of quality
Sports Direct = Mike Ashley = cold!!
Got 2 of the Campri tops from a couple of years back. Considering they are from SD they have lasted well and are reasonable quality..
I just mixed and matched... Went to checkout and total was £18. Went back to view my basket and it added the reduction.

I think it looks awesome. been looking for a trunki type suitcase for my little boy. on the downside, I think he may need more than the pyjamas and a water bottle that it seems is the max you can fit in this thing.....

Worse than most for RRP..... but all retailers have there moments...... it's profits first now and always ;)
are these chav jackets insotre, or just the online scam to make us aist even more money then?
Sports direct have got to be one of the worst retailers in this country. Charging you for a crappy magazine that you never asked for and ridiculous made up rrp prices. Rant over.
Ah Sports Direct and their random rogue prices (RRP)

sportsdirect.com – One Stop Sports Shop Since 1982

sportsdirect.comsportsdirect.com began life as a single store named Mike Ashley Sports in Maidenhead, 1982. A London branch opened up two years later and within a decade of its founding, there were 12 stores in the UK. The stores had a name change in the mid-90s to Sports Soccer to better reflect its dedicated range of football replica kits, which later became Sports Direct. As the company continued to grow, it not only opened even more shops but also started acquiring sportswear brands along the way like Donnay, Lonsdale, Dunlop, Slazenger, Carlton, Karrimor, Kangol, Everlast, and Umbro (although Umbro was later taken over by Nike) as well as rival retailers such as JJB Sports and USC.

Now the UK’s leading sportswear retailer, the Sports Direct International group has about 470 stores altogether; most of them in the UK but also located across Europe and South Africa. Finding your nearest store couldn’t be easier. Simply head to the storefinder page and either enter your location, let the website automatically find a store based on your computer’s IP address, or scroll through and select a store from the A-Z directory.

The sportsdirect.com Online Shop: Key Product Ranges and Brands on SportsDirect.com

There are five main product navigation categories at www.sportsdirect.com, with three other categories dedicated to specific sports, specific brands, and a clearance section. The five main categories are:

  1. Mens – View the latest styles of sports apparel and active wear for men.
  2. Ladies – Fashionable garments and footwear for a variety of indoor and outdoor sports.
  3. Kids – Stylish yet durable kid’s wear that’s great for running around at home or for gym class at school.
  4. Football Shirts – Buy your favourite team’s kit for the current season as well as other team branded clothing and accessories.
  5. Accessories – Here's where you can find all the accessories you need to enjoy your favourite sports, including footballs, basketballs, protective gear, and fitness equipment.
  6. Sports – Browse through goods for specific sports from A for Aerobic to Y for Yoga.

Sale on sportsdirect.comSelect the Clearance section directly from the navigation categories and you’ll land on the page offering plenty of multi-buy offers, percentage discounts, price crashes, and seasonal bargains that are ending soon. The styles typically include stock from current or past seasons. You can also head to the flash sale page where you can find Price Crashes and Weekly Offers to grab yourself a bargain for the upcoming summer or winter. Annual sales on football shirts come around every summer, when teams are updating their kits for the upcoming campaign and the merchant also takes part in the yearly Black Friday retail event at the end of November.

Ordering Products on sportsdirect.com

There’s no need to sign up for an account when you want to buy straight from the sportsdirect.com online store. The benefits of signing up for one include faster checkout, easy order tracking, and view purchase history. Plus, sportsdirect.com will email members-only offers to your email address that are tailored to your preferences based on the info you provide.

sportsdirect.com – Accepted Payment Options

Secure payments for orders made at Sports Direct can be processed using your Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, or Maestro card. PayPal is also accepted but only if you’re paying in GBP or EUR and only for items that are available for shipping, i.e. not pre-orders.

Shipping Policy at sportsdirect.com

Click & CollectStandard UK delivery is available on orders you place at Sports Direct, with a charge of £4.99 added to your order total and delivery completed to your door within 3 to 5 business days. If you need the items quicker than that, pay £6.99 instead and they will be with you within just 2 business days. Although the Click & Collect service gives you the convenience of picking up your items from the store when they’re available (usually within 7 business days) and still costs £4.99, the store staff will hand you a £5 voucher to use in store when you pick up your order. Collect+ is an extension of the Click & Collect service but gets the goods to the store quicker (within 2 working days) and costs £5.99 but you don’t get a free £5 voucher.
