An experiment in terror...
When an explosion at a top-secret government lab injures an elderly janitor (Keith Szarabajka, Angel), no one could have expected the terrifying results. Exposure to mysterious chemicals causes him to undergo a bizarre transformation. He is slowly...incredibly,,,growing younger every day. Now, a ruthless CIA assassin will stop at nothing to take him prisoner and turn him into a government guinea pig. With his future on the line, the janitor goes on the run with his wife (Frances Sternhagen, Sex and the City) and a feisty female agent (Felicity Huffman, Desperate Housewives). All the while, he continues to transform...into a being with powers that are as deadly as they are unimaginable.
This chilling vision of the dark side of technology from Stephen King will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

yeah, but there is only one review on there.
I enjoyed Golden Years! It wasn't really an adapation though - it was written as a screenplay. I don't think it's ever been novelised.
Me too , i watched it on sc fi channel i think and it was good , not really outstanding but it was deffo watchable.
Which I didn't sorry
think you might need to use the Zavvi £1 text voucher mentioned recently on HUKD.
Simply text "Zavvi" to "82100" (without quotes). Think text costs 25p
Golden Years is a Stephen King miniseries that aired in seven parts on CBS in 1991. It is about an old man named Harlan Williams who works as a janitor at a lab. When an experiment goes wrong and there is an explosion, he finds that the aging process is being reversed and he is getting younger. He ends up on the run from "The Shop", the same agency that hunted Charlene "Charlie" McGee in Firestarter.
The theme song of the show is "Golden Years" by David Bowie. Stephen King has a cameo as a bus driver.
The original televised series never finished, as the eighth and final episode did not air. The show was left on a cliffhanger, which was not fully resolved when it came out on video. Instead, the producers changed what had happened in the last minutes of the seventh episode and made that the final installment.
