T-Mobile Rapport Android smartphone (2.2 Froyo but can i believe be upgraded to 2.3 GB if you want))
2.8" Capacitive screen
3.2 megapixel camera
Bluetooth/Wi-Fi

also came bundled with a 2gb MicroSD card in the box and a voucher for £20 free App store downloads (haven't checked for an expiry date on this as yet though to see if still valid)

Still showing as £50 online but was price marked as Reduced from £38.50 to £29.99 In Burton On Trent Asda store. Can't speak for other stores...maybe national may not be. Would be useful if anyone else find's one in another to store to confirm...

Confirmed by damadgeruk that Asda Hamilton (Lanarkshire) also has them at this price so likely to be nationwide

    Internal memory anyone?

    it was Kingsmill ;-)

    Angry Birds installed and working...
9yr old Daughter (who i bought the phone for) was a little disappointed that "Draw Something" won't work though. Hardware not supported.

She's more than happy though as all the other games she plays on my SGS2 and CM9 HP Touchpad work fine..(Fruit slice, rope cut stuff etc..)

also means she can use Whatsapp over Wi-Fi for free messaging.

My eldest son has an OSF running CM7 and although not as fast as the OSF it's pretty damn good for £30....

    Yes Standard Android Froyo interface...

Was showing around 130Mb available for app installs....don't forget Froyo offers apps2sd as standard though and i also forgot to mention the phone came bundled with a 2Gb microSD card in the box and a £20 voucher for free app downloads!!

I'll add that to the first post...

Certainly is compatible. It's an Android phone. If it isn't then no Android phone's are compatible with O2 3G. Sounds like you just need to go into phone settings and change Access points to the O2 ones...if they aren't there add them.

    onezeon

searching around and I can't see any 02 wap settings for this phone

You don't need settings specific for THIS phone. Just for any Android phone...

results from my 2 first searches

OK for all those unsure about the unlocking business.........today i finally got round to unlocking the one i bought for my daughter.
I purchased the £5.16 fusion unlock option from Ebay yesterday afternoon paying via paypal. Got an Email straight back from them asking for the phone IMEI, I replied including this and then my code came back in an email early this morning.
Popped my daughter's GiffGaff sim card in the phone, powered up and typed in the supplied code when prompted. Instant phone unlock. Then to enable 3G went into settings>Wireless & networks>mobile networks>Access Point names. Selected O2 Pay and Go.

Job done, Phone unlocked and 3G enabled.

For £30 this is a great phone. I bought one when it was 40 and I use it as a spare android phone as I have a habit of losing expensive ones on nights out.

I bought one of these a few months ago. I got an unlock code from eBay, and a GiffGaff sim.

forum.xda-developers.com/sho…739 is a thread on updated Cyanogen firmware. That firmware has a Multitouch Synaptics touchscreen driver, which should mean that Angry Birds would work.
