How do they get away with an unlimited internet being subject to a 500mb … How do they get away with an unlimited internet being subject to a 500mb fair use? Ridiculous

The 500mb cap is for streaming data. All other usage is unlimited, so just don't sit on YouTube all day.

Okay just been told by a mobile phone shop guy that if you mention anything about iPhone 4 sim they stick a note on the account to not give you internet included, this deal is only for android phones.

i didn't receive anything either. my online account said that I would be able to renew from 16 october (so i'm assuming it was going to end 16 november). just give it a try, if they don't offer it to you just ring againa nd try another operator

From what I can find 1 person has put a post no replys tho . support.t-mobile.co.uk/dis…e1b

I'm tempted to leave tmobile usually there's a few good sim only deals around but it's been quiet for the past few months

I was told on the phone that my contract will just continue, 600 mins, unlimited texts (my booster) unlimited internet (3GB at the faster 384k speeds not the january change over speeds of 38.4!) all for the same price of £7.50

I asked for a text for confirmation while on the phone the text i recieved litterally states:

"We've changed your price plan to solo 12. You'll now benefit from 600 mins unlimited texts unlimited internet £7.50 per month"

I read this while on the phone with him still, and RE- CONFIRMED the 3GB of data, faster (normal) speeds.. and he stated that the contract is simply continuing under the SAME TERMS as before but for another 12 months..

    just for every one's info.
i just rang tmobile to cancel / give 30 days notice. i said straight up if same contract given I'll stay other wise please accept my notice. i was straight away given the same deal 600 mins/500 text/ u/l Internet + booster all for 7.50. i have received confirmation as well. happy !!!!
    thanks op for originally posting...

    How did you get on?

Cheapest they could do was the £11 sim that's advertised on there website.I choose the I'd like to cancel phone option.

They kept pushing for me to take the £11 a month deal even after I mentioned I could get a better deal from tesco mobile or giffgaff for £10 and be on a 1 month contract.

    Off to tesco I go

    Thanks for letting us know.

So it's definitely 600m + 500t + web AND a booster, as some were suggesting that it's now without the extra booster.
  23. deleted159534's avatar
I was offered this for £5 a month.
But T-Mobile charge for voice mail and do not take from inclusive minutes. (So you need voicemail booster).

They, also charge for calls to some UK mobile networks eg Lyamobile (how is one supposed to easily know which network a phone is on)? This is because of a dispute with them and the customer pays.

o2, 3, vodafone, orange do not charge extra for calls to Lycamobile.
    Hence, I declined.

T-Mobile used to be my favorite network, now I consider it to be the worst network.

Also.... when CPW group combined with Quidco provides zero cost deals even £5 a month is £5 too much, if you can afford the upfront cost!

    is this better than giffgaff?
  26. Gollywood's avatar
I recently got 'burned' by calling a mobile that unknown to me was a '074xx' number - my bill was doubled that month

Lycamobile apparently arent considered inclusive mobile minutes!

How would I have known that? '3' Network also have 074xx numbers!

Depends really, T-mobile is £2.50 cheaper with more minutes. GiffGaff has Unlimited Text and Data.

I would never go back onto T-mobile myself, had nothing but problems with signals.

i have been impressed with tmobile it started off badly but lately i get h+ everywhere i go the internet is solid even though its throttled, and will get even better when fully amalgamated as everything everywhere ,i hope they offer me it again when both my contracts are up 600 mins cross net 600 mins landlines 600 texts 3gb internet faster speed i get 2mb thereabouts all for £7.50 well £15 for 2 its a no brainer

Thanks OP for the reminder. I've 2 sims with T mobile happy with signal so hope to get the renewal deal.
DD has a Blackberry which Giff Gaff don't support (so I understand) so T mobile again for us.

Im exactly the opposite , i had nothing but trouble with GiffGaff/O2 and would never use them again , literally , id rather use two tin cans and some string, BUT if you have a good O2 signal then they are generally one of the better PAYG deals.

Voted Hot this is a good deal.

Remember everyone if you got the 3Gb data last November. I know they might only be offering 500Mb these days but that old 3Gb bundle was for 18months hence why it originally showed up as "w&w18+". Regardless of whether you cancelled after the initial 12 months or not you should still receive 3Gb of data for another 6 months. So don't let them fob you off or tell you otherwise when you call.

Cheers OP. I need to renew my £7.66 contract as mine expires next month so I'll give them a call.

I'm not overly impressed with T-Mobile's reception but for £7.66 it'll do!

No need to call each other names

Thanks for reposting this! Missed it the first time around! My contract's up soon, so I may try to move to this one. Double the minutes, half the price! Cheers!

It is indeed. I'm on 750mb with Orange, but then I do pay £35 a month and for £7.50, you really can't complain about 500mb of data.
