Looked at Amazon's price history, this watch has been £20 for the past 6 months and other sites are selling it for the same.
Seriously who pays RRP for these ?
This model is a 'bought in' special offer. It's a good watch for £20, so long as you're not expecting a £50 timepiece.
Good find :)
Anyone want a freshly caught white candy cane ?

BURBERRY THE CITY SILVER TONE STEEL BRACELET MENS WATCH £189.90 @ The watch Hut

I just saw this and bought it myself. Great looking watch which is listed for £395 at Burberry and Selfridges. Also at Amazon UK for £319 so this looks like a bargain. Use code BOX10 for 10% discount

I don't really agree with negative comments, I would love to buy a Tag or a Brietling but they are stupid money. Hugo Boss and Armani do loads of watches and I see them everywhere so I didn't see any point getting one. A Burberry watch is a fashion accessory pure and simple, I don't need a diamond watch and equally I don't need any of the useless features on other watches. It looks to be half decent quality, I like the British brand, and I like the style of watch. For me therefore sub £200 is a good deal

^ All the watch companies are at it, Swatch owns Omega and Longines amongst others, Rado own Hugo Boss and Lacoste watches etc. There are no "small" watch firms out there now on their own. Similar thing with cars - does it cheapen the Bugatti, Lamborghini or Bentley brands because they are owned by Volkswagen AG, or Rolls Royce now BMW own them?
Watches always have a huge mark-up, and the higher up the brands you go, the bigger the mark-up is. Saying that, I would rather pay big money for a big watch brand (like Omega, Rolex, Longines etc) than a big fashion brand (Hugo Boss, D+G, Gucci) that has put their name to a watch, as you might feel that some of your money has been well spent on a nice self winding movement and far better materials. Some very good deals to be had at outlet shopping in the US. Bought a "£400" Lacoste watch for $165 at an outlet in Las Vegas back in 2008 when there were almost 2 dollars to the pound, makes a good rough and ready every day watch, but it's just a basic quartz movement inside.
For what it is and the retail price usually applied to the product, this Burberry watch looks a decent deal for a watch bought more for its looks than the engineering precision that has gone into it. I'll give it some heat.
There is a difference though. VW own the brands you mention and Swatch do own Omega whereas Fossil don't own Burnett, they simply make the watches under license just as they do for Diesel, Adidas, DKNY, Michelle, Armani etc.

Yes, you're going to get a better watch buying a bottom end Longines than a top end Gucci/D&G for your £1500.

An expensive watch is always an extravagance, but so are plenty of other things in life, and for some (myself included), a really good watch that gets properly looked after could last a lifetime.

If you want to pay inflated price for a brand name and feel good about it, this is a good deal. neither heat nor cold from me.

I've had a look round and can't see anyone wearing one anywhere... 'HOT' if you're still wearing NHS glasses...

So Amazon have now price matched Watch Hut...... Amazon wanted £150 for this watch when I put this deal up.
Amazon just seem to copy other companies deals these days.

Still not as good a deal as Watch Hut when you take the 6% Quidco cashback into account though.

The cheapest ive seen this one was in an american outlet. $105. So £80 isnt bad.
Its a really nice watch. So nice that someone stole mine, so im looking a replacement. Glad it wasnt a £2k Tag!!
Cheshire Oaks has an outlet store with some very nice bargains, but like all outlets the stock and range can be a bit hit and miss.
I'm trying to track down a specific Fossil watch at the mo, and it's proving tricky to say the least.

I agree with these comments ive had 2 mess ups safe to say I wouldn't deal with this company again!!!
Last two orders were a nightmare. First one they kept hold of my money for 5 weeks - no emails, nothing for three weeks despite item as being in stock. When I chased they said item out of stock and took 2 weeks to refund me.

Second order a month or so later was allegedly in packing for two weeks and mysteriously never made it past that point. Again, I had to chase and two weeks later I got my refund.

They claim to be "overwhelmed" by their Flash Sale - if you check their FB page and similar there are numerous horror stories about this company in the last 6-9 months about people not getting their orders, wrong orders and hells work trying to get refunds.

Definitely gone downhill.

Watch Hut clearly no idea what they are selling, description says water resistant to 100m but the watch in the picture has WR 50m on the face as does the more detailed information on the watch.
I dont think I will be going anywhere near 50m deep, so I dont really care!
50M water resistant does not mean you could go 50M deep underwater. it means "Can be submerged in water. Suitable for swimming, but not guaranteed to be resistant to jumping into the pool."

Eh? Why do they call that 50m?

I think they use air pressure to test.

Consensus seems to be that Casio are rather conservative in their WR ratings. The watch would probably be OK at 50m - although that's not what the rating is specifically for, really - misleading, I suppose, but I guess it's like some arbitrary scale.

WR can deteriorate over time - the seals can deterioriate, or not be installed that well if a watch has had it's back off.

You probably could go to 50m underwater - well probably with Casios - they tend to be quite conservative in their ratings.

I did not look into the definition of water resistant years ago when I bought a CASIO Protrek says 200m water resistant. Then I swim with it, dive when on holiday into about 10 meters underwater. Later they had to open the cover, change the battery and dry the inside to keep it running coz I could see water inside the watch. Still a tough watch.

I bought this watch a few months ago for a similar price.

I'd been keen, still am, to own a Casio Edifice watch but this particular watch felt very cheap.

It looks attractive and stylish but the quality of materials is not what I would expect even at this price point.

Within a few minutes of receiving it I had re-packaged it ready to return to watch station for a refund.

i own a casio edifice this 1 Hide full quote
(not bought from them) and it is absolute quality. I also bought 1 of there lower cost ones and it was cheap rubbish i know the prices are totally different but was hopping for similar build quality, my opinion stay away from there sub £100 edifice range

That's the exact Edifice I was/am after but I bought the one listed.

Thanks for confirming the build quality on these is much superior as I am still after one.

BTW, agree with the comments about The Watch Hut - had to chase them several times for my refund.

if your after the same watch its here on amazon for a stonking price and still a couple in stock and supplied by amazon as well
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-EQW-M1100DB-1AER-Quartz-Analogue-Stainless/dp/B003ZUXTPU

Cheers fella - I have a price watch on it.

It actually went down to about £160 a few days ago.

I also have a 25% discount code so could have got it for £120 but I never bought it.

Reason being is, I think, this is an old model now so am hoping for the price to drop further.

Or am I being greedy and should I buy it now which, with my code will make it come in at about £125.

for £125 for that watch is a great price dont think you get it to much lower they probably discontinue it fairly soon as its about 3 years old now
