This is one of the most tasteless apples you can buy. Supermarkets sell them because they produce regular shaped fruit that keeps well. But if you grow your own why not get a variety that tastes good. It doesn't have to keep as you can eat it off the tree.
You can get apple trees elsewhere jsut as cheap if you shop around and they will be a lot bigger and fruit sooner than these.

Position:sun or semi shade
Hardiness:Half-hardy
Tasty berries and beautiful blooms
Brand new fruit high in Vitamin C
Up to 300 berries per plant each year
Unique flavour combining fig and kiwi
Keeps on flowering while fruiting
A brand new strain of edible fuchsia berry from Thompson & Morgan's own breeding programme. Not only does the Fuchsia Berry produce large sweet fruits packed with vitamin C and nutrients, it also produces beautiful blooms right through to autumn.
Yeah I wonder what research has been done to certify they are safe to eat, like carcinogenicity trials etc. Answer (very very very likely true) is zero.
Anyway T&M can fondle my berries after their last swizz. Pushing a rose called 'eyes for you' at the time with very nice pics. I even waited a long time as the season's launch of this rose was a sell out and my order was put back a year. Anyway the rose was not as pictured. I posted a review on their site that stuck to their T&C but it was pulled. The reviews that were published more or less confirmed my point of view nonetheless. I buy their seeds but that is it.
Fondle my berries is my new fave saying lol

If you're going to be **** about someones post, picking up on grammar, you should probably proof read it and spell check it first.
Coma = A state of unconsciousness from which a person cannot be awakened.
Comma = A punctuation mark.

I think the " maybe you need more practice" bit could have been termed a bit more diplomatically, although I was thinking along the same lines - the way the OP phrased the post! Ebay can be an excellent source of seeds. Premier Seeds Direct is highly recommendable example.

this is a good price, but most of these seeds can be bought from reputable ebay sellers for around a quid so £23 worth from here equates to about a tenner for the savvy shopper. still a small saving.
I've been growing plants for over 30 yrs I've also bought from ebay but the quality I've received has been terrible they more often or not don't germinate, got 3 lots of ebay seeds in just now with my Thomson and Morgan's I bought on their last deal have all have germinated ebay one's not a one! never again
I've been growing veg for around 7 years, and have always used the same supplier on ebay. I've never had any germination issues.Maybe you need more practice. I use premier seeds direct. Always excellent quality.
This is for Admin, why is it that people are allowed to post sarcastic remarks when people are going out of their way to let others in on bargains they have found, totally uncalled for remarks if they don't think it's a deal for them move on!

Really?

I voted hot, and said it was a good deal, but just that the rrp of £23 that you got for the offer price was inflated. You replied with some slaver about every trader on Ebay selling seeds that don't germinate. People are more than welcome to post remarks on your thread, especially when it concerns the potential value, that's why we're all here after all.

That's why I seldom buy plants or plugs. I only buy seeds. The postage is quite prohibitive!
aym280
I would give potatoes a miss. OK, it is good to have home grown food, but land is premium and you can easily get some reduced to a song. If I were buying from T&M, I would go for 1) Petunia pirouettes or double or petunia five stars (up the road, some house-owner planted blue five star stripes with blue simple petunia and the combo was so effective!), Tithonia (Mexican Sunflower), silver fall trailing plants, Osteospermum which could be used as a trailing plant in a basket. And even giant fuchsias.
flobbit
Master G
2kg of potatoes is about 50p in the supermarket but i don't think the value here is in the final product. £5.65 for the pleasure of eating your own produce seems a bargain to me.
Edit: plus compost so add about £6
Where? A lot more than that at present.
