About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
This is a great album by a great band if you have not heard of them, part of 7digital's £3 album sale (more stuff there including Sigur Ros, Queen etc. probably of interest to some but this stands out to me)
also worth mentioning 7digital has recently gone 100% mp3 so all albums are available in high quality with no DRM (unlike itunes which prevents having backup copies etc. easily) and are of course compatible with any mp3 player.

sorted bysame for me, but each to their own
most music buying people are happy paying £7.99 or more for a digital download of an album, and to me its devalued even more by the fact that often it will be DRM protected
so yes, i'm not saying this is a good deal compared to buying and having the physical CD as that is also my preference, but the way 7digital are going i think they are becoming a viable alternative
I have actually noticed that this is available on iTunes Plus (DRM free) for £4.99, and while the quality is probably about the same this should be preferable as it is universal as MP3 format, unlike itunes which uses AAC so isn't supported by everything, not to mention its £2 cheaper :).
Although you're not exactly right in saying you can't *easily* backup iTunes music. You can backup .m4p (protected songs) to as many different media as you want (although to play them back the computer may need to be authorized to play them, up to 5 PCs/Macs at any one time).
You can burn a playlist to Audio CD up to 7 times, but you can have the same song in different playlists.
The only problem I have with iTunes is you can't re-download the songs you've bought (you can re-download apps for the iPhone, why not the songs?)
Back to 7digital, looks like I won't be renewing my emusic subscription this month
That is a superb album. haven't been too impressed with what I've heard of this, but still a HOT deal
