Everyone seems to be missing the point that unless you have high end wired headphones or a receiver/amp that can wirelessly stream (not bluetooth) with decent speakers then you won't be able to experience lossless and the increase in quality just won't be noticeable. Good article here about bluetooth and hi-res/lossless audio: https://darko.audio/2020/11/no-bluetooth-cannot-deliver-hi-res-audio/
Would I be able to hear the difference on my google nest mini?
No judgement here, In This Moment and Stone Sour = all good (highfive) However, I'm initiating my request to play music using a voice command to my speaker directly, so my phone isn't involved at all. Could well be a quirk of Apple Music via a Google Assistant speaker, who knows? Thanks for having a look into it anyway. I'll have it another play about tomorrow, you never know! Just a little late to be blasting out my usual... (pirate) Edit: tried your suggestion this morning. Didn't work sadly, still just stops after 1 song.
Try toggling it on and asking for xx track by xx artist and see if it does after it’s been turned on, by default it’s off but once my songs finish now it does it automatically even after requesting the one song from siri it auto plays similar without me doing anything now. Even when I pick an individual song now a random similar playlist is generated on my Apple Music app This is the end of the playlist I have on now and then it’ll go straight into the auto play playlist, don’t judge the music I listen to (lol)
