Just used a coupon successfully in Tesco Express. Took a few attempts for the cashier to scan it and he did go and check the shelf for some reason but it worked on a bottle of standard Lucozade.

Nothing stopping you using throw away details...- Tried original lucozade as sugar free wasn't available in tesco. Kept giving error, so just left it

He just scanned it using there hand held scanner. - Morrisons - They scan the code but don’t know what it’s for, have to tell them to take cost of drink off.
Asda - They scan the code but nothing happens, they have to type in the barcode and it works.
Tesco - They couldn’t scan code but lady at checkout was thick so I gave up. May try another store.
Was able to get one code a day, can’t anymore

Just because Morrisons and Tesco are not trained to use their infra-red scanners properly is not the customer’s problem.
