Well I'm done with it. I've created two CVG accounts now, gone through the whole voting process twice and each time I get offered the game I want, I have to check email for it, I do that, the email thanking me for voting says, click here to verify your email to claim your game. I do that and then I'm told OOPS! It looks like you haven't voted.

Well I have voted, twice. I've gone round and round with the damn thing and I'm done. My opinion of GMG has dropped considerably with all this hassle and it was previously sky high with nothing but great deals and everything working as I would hope. Seriously if I got this kind of run around buying a game, I would never use that company ever again.

Painful voting procedure. I can't believe how many sub-screens I have to enter to cast my votes!

Try these as a short cut, still need to press select, but at least it will halve the waiting time and number of server errors

It tells you that you may have to wait up to 24 hours for your vote to register.

Looks like you may need to wait up to 24 hours to be able to get the game. I have voted but it still says i havent. Just a case of keep checking back

On GMG I selected my game filled in the details below and I received an email to confirm my free game. Try clicking the link in the 'thanks for voting' email again to claim the game. I just clicked the link from the email I received yesterday and instantly got another email containing a Steam key for my selected game.

Maybe wait a little longer and if they dont send it then email GMG and the Joystick awards as you have both email from voting and from making your acc on GMG so maybe they can just send you a code. It does say a minimum of 24 hours for the code so hopefully it will be on its way soon ^^

Mine done the same but it does actually say "(please allow a minimum of 24 hours from when you register your votes)." so hopefully I should get my free game tomorrow, it's not explained very well though!
