Been reading up on how to make money by creating a website. It seems the only way is to have affiliates and adverts on webpage, in hope that people will click it and then purchase something. Yet HUKD has no adverts am i missing something? Is it possible to earn money just through poeple visiting a site?

Most "deals" posted will have a referral link added, so that when you click (or purchase either this item or maybe one in the future from that site), HUKD gets a kickback.
The costs of running a site like this isn't cheap, but it makes a very sizable profit nonetheless. Wished I'd have thought the idea up.
Quidco is run by Paul through his company Maple Syrup Limited, while HUKD is run as a personal website e.g. no ltd company
lol ah makes sense now thanks guys
I didnt know they ran Quidco too, cheers for the info.
Is that why Quidco have changed the look of their site too???
Just seen this quidco.com/pre…ple Paul & Jen Nikkel, Co-Founders
There you are, the same company!
Richard Branson owns lots of companies. Does this mean they are all the same company?
Mind you. Richard Branson wouldn't mind being a £1 behind Pauls income! X)
not really personal, its obviously a business
I am a heavy duty user of quidco and a regular user of the deals section. But just started using the for sale section, my advert has been expired immediately 3 times in the last 2 weeks due to heavy handed approach to their advert "vetting" process.
It was easier to get a job at the Serious Organised Crime Agency, after they've checked your personal bank account history and investigated your close family, than it is to try place an ad on this site.
i am wondering the same
