Incense Sticks

Posted 15th Nov 2012
Hi
Can anybody please recommend where I can buy some good quality incense sticks - fed up spending my money on "so called" quality and being really disappointed when they don't burn well or don't have a decent scent! Thanks in advance!

I've found the sticks from Poundland rubbish, have bought some decent ones from market stalls like in York, there an outdoor market near The Shambles I think it's called. Try good quality unusual gift shop, I try buy from shops that actually burn them on the premises then you can tell the quality by that too. I also find the cones better than the sticks.

I do burn candles a lot but I find that incense sticks really are a quick and effective to clear cooking smells in my kitchen/dining area!
Regarding candles, unless they are good quality, ie: expensive, it is difficult to get a quality aroma!
    Thanks for your input, realblender!

Last year I had a Doh moment and realized where do they get theirs usually: Asian supermarkets or big shops! Been pleased so far and do have a sniff at the box.

I hate the sticks and prefer the cones. Less mess, better smell and look nicer.

They look good, I've ordered some. Are they easy to use? I've never used any before.

I go to this random spiritual shop which sells all sorts, look for the little shops and never buy the cheap 10 for £1 ones. Your best bet is to buy authentic Indian ones online. Nag champa (I think it is ) smells great and strong x

My sister uses the Naga champ cones, and they smell really nice.

The only sticks I have ever found to be any good are ones called black magic, although I got some alright ones in B&M one time, that were black current scented.

Hi, try looking up 'The Incence Man' online, they do a vast quantity of Incence from lots of different suppliers. I personally find the 'HEM' brand very good, try 'Black Magic' and 'Dragon's blood' or 'Champa Massala' 3 of my favourites

Dragons Blood +1 - great strong lasting smell - ebay sellers always cheapest, we bought a wholesale box of them with about 10 tubes in them each having 8-10 sticks in cost about £10
