Ordered recently Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Donkey Kong Returns and Sonic Unleashed so since of those were all on "Processing your order" I decided to send Music Magpie an email and this is what they sent in return:
They're basically saying I'm getting the items and then reporting them as 'lost' which is a lie. I have been waiting ages for those games to arrive and they never did as they were never dispatched.
With regards to your query, after assessing all orders placed with us through all our sites we sell on we can see you have a lot of lost in post items, which appears there is clearly an issue with you receiving our orders.
We have therefore taken the action to not accept any further orders from yourself as it would seem almost everything you have purchased has not arrived with you, which is costing us as a business.
We would kindly ask that no further orders are placed as these will also be cancelled.

sorted byIt's a classic HUKD misc complaints thread. Someone moans yet doesn't tell the whole truth and the Sherlock Holme's that is misc sees right through it.
Music Magpie would not blakclist you over 3 items that have not been dispatched. It sounds like you have filed claims over numerous sites they operate on and they've had enough.
Sigh. Yeah.
You been pulling the same trick on their other sites and got caught out.
These three orders were never dispatched because they have stopped your account.
You must have had a lot of "lost parcels" previously.
Well done MusicMagpie.

When sainsburys entertainment was still trading I preordered GTA 5. The release date came and went. I had to wait a month before a refund to allow time for it to come and so they could check with royal mails lost and found team.
Lone behold it never came and I lost the preorder dlc. So I can emphasise
They're not talking about this specific order.
Stop pretending parcels haven't arrived when they have. Its theft.
So can I
Spasho: Although I agree with dt' (above) [well, apart from "Holme's" & "blakclist" (_;)], why are you having to chase the Royal Mail? The seller should be doing this.
Also, please do not use Debit Cards to purchase items online. Credit Cards offer better protection, especially in cases like this (depending on the value of the items).
So is everyone else. They aren't talking about these items going missing. They didn't dispatch these items because previous items sent to your shipping address have gone missing.
I.E. you have bought items before and they've not arrived, so you've claimed you money back. Although, the suspicion of MM and most of the people on the thread is that they have arrived and you've claimed your money back anyway. Royal Mail's success rate is like 98.5% on second class post. (second class actually has a higher delivery rate than first!) Simply; parcels don't go missing that often. Once you've reported a certain amount have never arrived Occam's razor comes into play. I hope you enjoyed your free games.

Unlucky ones? None of the three orders were marked as 'Dispatched'. I wouldn't be complaining if I'd have received them.
I would also come to the same conclusion that Music Magpie did and decline orders if they are going missing alot. They need to add a signed for option to help their cause.
No, I have been buying from them for years and now all of the sudden they do this. They were great in the past but I'm not sure what's going on now.
Every company always sends an email notifying the customer that the order's been shipped. Music Magpie never did for any of the three.
If it were dispatched as it should, then they should mark it as 'Dispatched' and they didn't.
Didn't have problems with them back then.
Before? They all arrived but they also were marked as dispatched.
Are you just trolling now?
Yes they have.
I tried that but they keep telling me I have to talk to Royal Mail. Talk to Royal Mail? They weren't dispatched.
Good for you. I was like you before until they screwed me out of getting what I ordered.

That wasn't the case.
I didn't pay with Paypal because I trusted them.
Debit card through their website.
I'm pretty upset about it 'cause I thought those games would be in my collection. Sigh.
Either that or your postman keeps taking your stuff, your 'unlucky' or keeping the stuff for a refund?
The postman delivers our parcels late but doesn't keep them if that's what's meant by 'unlucky'.
Magpie refunded one out of the three and instead of refunding me, I'd wish they'd just ship the games. I don't want a refund, I want the games.
Sounds to me you're trying to pull a fast one. Why else would they say "almost everything you order" when other than these 3 orders you claim youve received everything.
I reckon you've filed a claim every time they don't update to dispatched and they've finally had enough.

No, I've been waiting for them to dispatch and they never did so I asked them as to why they haven't.
I've been buying from Amazon, Base, TGC and other websites and never had this issue. Not sure why they're doing this -- they told me that I need to speak to Royal Mail but that makes no sense. Sent Music Magpie another email with screenshot evidence that they haven't actually dispatched any of the three orders.
If they at least had dispatched it would be one thing, but they didn't.
The past orders have arrived. These recent ones haven't as they weren't dispatched. I'm tired of repeating myself.
I also use Cash Generator though I pay them through Paypal and CeX also via Paypal. No problems with either of these two either.
I've been trying to know why they're doing this and all they tell me is because of Royal Mail. That doesn't tell me anything.
Yea, lesson learned, better to pay via Paypal always.
Anyway, if people here don't believe me that's fine, I'd be sceptic too if I had a good experience with them and then someone was criticising them. Just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.
