Spending Your Converted Nectar Points (Since Amazon Quit)

Posted 13th Mar 2013
I always converted my Nectar points, largely collected at Sainsburys, into Amazon vouchers, but since Amazon withdrew from the scheme, I've carried on collecting without any real thought as to what to do with them once they've amassed into a decent amount.

So my question is, what are your favoured stores that you get your points converted into vouchers for? I previously saved until it meant I got an Xbox release annually via Amazon.

I have just been to Sainsbury's and bought £100 of Amazon vouchers using my nectar card to pay, nobody questioned it and the till let it go straight through.

Usually Argos for me - Spent about £50 2 months ago on a Bosch drill which was great
Coming up to have around £30 in a few days and I'm after a Bosch cable/pipe detector so again, I'll probably end up spending/using them in Argos

Thanks. I'm looking at the Nectar webpage for spending points, and there seems to be so few options:

    Nectar Spend Your Points

Would have been nice to be able to spend in as many places as I can collect!

Not sure if Sainsbury or Argos sell Amazon gift cards but it's worth a look instore to see if they do. Also not sure if they'd let you buy a giftcard with a giftcard (can't see why not though).

the only place we've spent a reasonable amount of nectar points is debenhams - before they left the nectar collective. (several years ago)

the android app seems to be getting thinner with offers recently too, thank god i've only got £1.92 of points - going to spend them and then scrap it.
