not in glasgow darnley store
I bought this when it was a lot more expensive. Its softwood so will need to be protected...I use deck oil when doing the deck...as already been mentioned you may need to a bit of 'fitting' as not all the holes line up. Mine is now 3years old & still holding up..
Saw this in Fort Kinnaird on Saturday. Asked manager for price which was £29.99.
Purchased one at Leytonstone yesterday, indeed it was still labelled £30 but will scan for £10
These are what you would except for the price none of the holes line up so get drill ready

Melamine picnicware set £2.99 at Aldi

I use melamine as it's less likely to break in my caravan when I move it. Also I know my toddler won't break it!
I just find ceramic a bit classier to be honest, agreed that chipping could be an issue, so I pack it carefully, same as an apple I wouldn't want bruised.
I put melamine from Poundland in my dishwasher all the time and it has never melted, not even on a hot wash.
So ceramic is too heavy then. Well my ceramic side plate, bought cheaper than this melamine, from Sainsbury's weighs 275 g. That is about the same as a yoghurt and an apple, only slightly more than a small fruit shoot or less than a quater of a bottle of prosecco. Not really the heaviest item in my picnic bag to be honest. Also melamine melts in the dishwasher, my ceramic does not.

This is an example where you have a cupboard full of good plates already, and the marketeers at Aldi convince you to part with cash for more plates that you didn't really need. By tricking you to spend money on extra plates they keep you poor and then guarantee you'll always shop at Aldi, it's a well disguised trap.
OK, not slagging this off but why do we need melamine plates at a picnic. If you are sitting on the floor and drop your plate, it is unlikely to break from the few inches tumbling to soft earth.
Different matter if it comes flying off the dining table onto your designer kitchen flagstones, yet we are happy to nosh off of fine Jamie Oliver porcelain stuff. confused.com

What don't you get? Melamine is lightweight and reusable, hence why people prefer to use it than say, paper plates. Ceramic tableware is obviously often too heavy to take on picnics.

Bought a folding one from Aldi £15 for Glastonbury last year. Honestly didn't even get it out of the car park. Wheelbarrow for me this year. Come to think of it anyone seen a cheap one?
Sorry make that toolstation
Better off just going to Wickes and buying a complete one, rather than buying a self build barrow.
P.s must stop hitting that 'like' button by mistake!
Less then 10 screws to put together... You pay 20% +/- more for it to be built for you

That's exactly what I thought too (and a mate in the same game)...then it took ages to put together, and its the one labourers fear to use as its so unstable....always going for the squeaky battered rusty old Wickes one instead.
I'm borrowing the girlfriends dads this year, just hope I don't loose it

yes me too I have a hot water bottle on my lap as I type!!! cold here!
I like to get in the spirit of English summer by putting the fire on and enjoying a nice warm bowl of soup. Are logs and soup included in the offer.
Got 4 items and a picnic bag for £9 with the 10% off food automatically applied with a Sparks card.

My Sparks offers are also showing 20% off continental meats so there "might" be a double discount in there somewhere as the picnic deal includes some Parma Ham and Salami packs.

I also bought some reduced food items and looks like the 10% came off them too.

To be honest, you could pick the wood up from the timber section for half the price, photograph the bench and build it yourself. These are really flimsy and will rot by next winter whereas build your own with properly pretreated wood should last a few years

I guarantee you could not buy the timber from B&Q with enough price difference to make it worthwhile.
Got mine this morning and it is pressure treated.
I've just finished staining all the parts with some sadolin prior to assembly. I purchased the Argos one (similar price), and that's not pressure treated and has lasted me 4 years with annual treating, which i was surprised at really as we are on a cliff edge here surrounded by sea so open to all elements.
For the price and convenience i'm happy with the price i paid.
Doubt you could make one for £40. If this is the same one we bought 5 years ago for £40 it is OK for the money. Sturdy enough and hasn't rotted yet.
had ours three years, yep, we did strengthen the seat when we put it together, but its still as good as new, intact we just retreated the wood yesterday to keep it going..for the price, very good

I agree and appreciate your feedback but not the negative heat. I did go to ALDI but there wasn't any there. My preference would probably have been the ALDI model as it does have a 3 year warranty and the extra capacity but they only do it a couple of times a year and I needed it that week.
Outwell are a well respected brand and it does come with both 12v DC and 230v AC cables. With most others you have to purchase the AC adaptor separately so I opted for this one. It performed brilliantly last weekend, everything was ice cold. I left it on in the boot on the ECO setting, the car started first time Sunday afternoon without a problem.
I'm at a loss as to why this has gone negative? For this model the price is probably the cheapest out there, we could go on all day about other models and their prices but would you do this if someone had put an offer on here about a fiesta? (i.e. The corsa is £2000 cheaper and has a bigger boot.) No you wouldn't or shouldn't. If someone has given a price on a saleable item that is the cheapest out there then that should receive positive heat? Everyone has a right to an opinion and a preference as to what make or model they'd rather, by all means comment and give your opinion on other models but leave the heat alone.
If the same item is cheaper elsewhere then by all means give it negative heat.
This was my first post on here and judging by the negative heat it will be my last, if someone was looking at the outwell model and I hadn't put this on here then they'd have paid a higher price, surely then this post has to be a positive.
Small minded people could ruin this site for everyone else.
I need one for weekend after next. Seems the Aldi one was available earlier in the summer

Sorry, I meant to say for the brand as a whole, not just this item.
What do people do with the coals after bbqing with these little charcoal grills?
A very quick glance at this deal and I thought for a milisecond it said body fart picnic charcoal grill, that would be a novel way of lighting the grill and probably quite offputting to guests. I need to go to Specsavers (they've won with that marketing)

I love BOOST bars (and peanut MORO bars in Ireland are even better) ... eating 2 provides 100% of my daily Saturated fat allowance. Yumsk.
