    Anyone suggest any deals on similar size, cheaper & not a great big gas canister......if that exists :/

    This connects to smaller threaded gas canisters it all just depends on which gas regulator that you purchase. There is the option of the Campingaz Cooker gooutdoors.co.uk/159…930 which you may be able to find cheaper elsewhere - other than this you would be looking at the smaller portable single burners like the Campingaz Bistro which take disposable gas cartridges.
