Some advice from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE is that above 24" 1080p panels start to look less crisp from a "sharp" distance do to the pixels density decreasing. Though not everyone may feel the same

Is to worth upgrade from 60 to 75 or just make the jump straight to 144hz

Dispatch is 1-2 months. The 144hz version has been down to £160 a couple of times recently. Given this is a long lead time probably worth waiting for black Friday if you can.

I bought this last time it was on offer.... Only small gripe is the volume buttons are very small and fiddly

pet2000

Hot from me because it's one of a few monitors which can be rotated 90 degrees for long documents (all monitors should have this). If voucher expires buy from amazon for £129.

lets agree to disagree and leave it at that :)

I'm not saying you're wrong or the Currys staff/tech team are wrong I'm saying they will only be following the guidelines from the RTV partner. It won't be just Currys staff who follow those guidelines, it will be anywhere that sells the screen from this manufacture/RTV partner. The manufacture and RTV partners are the ones who set out the guidelines, not the stores, the stores have no say over it unless they are willing to cover the costs out of their own pockets. From experience in the RTV industry, very few stores are willing to cover that cost unless it's an insignificant amount or any negative publicity would outweigh the repair cost. So my advice would be to try and make the story as public as possible and Currys would likely cover the costs and send it back to the RTV partner for a OOW repair. Again though, it wouldn't/won't just be Currys who have to follow those guidelines, any retailer would.

you do understand what impact damage means.how can you impact a monitor to cause electrical components to blow yet have not a hairline mark on the whole unit .he didnt even examine it.one of the first emails i got from currys legal team was they could not find the engineers report which they then arranged,i also have messages from the engineer saying they cant find out why it failed.i should add the monitor was in use gaming with witnesses when it blew.so no. guidelines or not their customer service in store was shocking,i should add the currys phone customer service was great and thet told me to take it to a store to be sent off for an engineer to examine it, even got reference no's-the store staff would not even listen or check the reference. if youre telling me currys staff are being told to act like this then people should be very careful buying there but thank for the replies :)

twiggy9999

Yep, as above, he will be following the guidelines set by RTV. There's no point in them sending it back to RTV if he knows it won't pass the guidelines as it's then Currys who cover the shipping costs rather than the OEM.

Any deals on decent work monitors

daveonmako

I bought one of these in June and am very happy with mine. I spent ages trying to determine if I was going to get a 27", 32" or 34" display. I think I picked right and it's a really good price for the spec as far as I could tell from my research back then.

Guess_What

I'm still trying to find a reason to keep the G7 over my msi g27q lol

SirSpanky

I have the 27" version of this and thoroughly recommend this range to anyone after a new monitor. Did a fair bit of research and VA seemed like a really good middle ground between IPS and TN for gaming. The curve is relatively subtle too for anyone wary about that.
