Hi need to replace a Euro cylinder trouble is the screw is tight beyond belief. Tried the usual methods rubber band etc.. will not budge one inch any ideas

It would be better if you had a new one on hand. Measure from the screw to the end of the lock each side and get a replacement with those dimensions. A straight edge across the lock face may make measuring easier while it is in the door. Don't forget to spend extra on an anti-snap one.
lock is about 8/9 years old was a new build flat, lock by winkhaus no idea how good it is assume not great but part of multi point system did not want to muck around too much
Have you tried spraying WD40 or GT85 in the lock, On the key and all over the multi locking points as they do require maintenance.
Yes did the WD first then read not a good idea as might attract more gunk- needs graphite spay for inside locks seems.
