Nice find Chanchi, when I have caught up with the rest of my gaming purchases, maybe a switch will be on the cards.

''Or, build your own bundle..'' but there are 0 options, is that likely to update with a selection of games? Been waiting for a Tesco deal, as I have expiring clubcard vouchers, only really want Zelda though.

Same. If they had Mario, splatoon or Zelda I'd definitely be tempted. Just waiting for the right deal.

Plus Nintendo games hardly ever dip below the £40 mark and I'm not counting 1 2 Switch as that is a throwaway game and should have been a day one pack in anyway....

You do realise that you have to pay for marketing costs with every product you buy, don’ t you? You also haven’t factored in the cost of the Joycons and their tech, plus the screen costs (not included in a Shield TV).

Armchair manufacturers are rife in this thread it seems...

Switch costs about £221.43 at the current exchange rate for the hardware alone. gamerant.com/nin…st/

That doesn’t include the other costs like marketing and distribution either. (edited)

How dare you apply logic and common sense to this discussion...

Screens aren't cheap. R&D isn't cheap. The accelerometers in the joy-cons aren't cheap. Yes Nintendo are one of the rare examples where they're making a small profit on the hardware in the console world but I'd hardly call it a "Nintendo tax"

depends what screen are you talking about..high quality, high resolution OLED screen with gorilla glass? sure.. high quality LCD screen with high resolution and top specs? absolutely..
but plastic, low resolution budget LCD screen used is Switch? cheap as chips.
don't get me wrong I own a Switch and love the exclusives but there is no mistaking,Switch is crazy over-priced..and there is definitely Nintendo tax to play their games.overpriced poor hardware, great software.that's it.

If anyone ordered this deal and was gutted they missed out on the new 20 off 150 spend..I called up and mentioned the new deal and asked if I could cancel my order (that I placed on the Thursday (so hadn't received yet)) and re-order the FIFA bundle for 259 with accessory pack using the 20 off and the lady said she would just credit my card back with 20 if I preferred this game so I actually got the bundle for 259 =]

I got the tesco switch deal with Zelda and Mario Rabbids last week.

An excellent portable console with some great party games. Take it to work daily, took it to a mates over the weekend for a few beers and some excellent, yet extremely frustrating couch games (no matter how hard we try we could not manage a single 3-star completion in Overcooked). It definitely fills the gap between the 3DS/Vita and standard consoles.
That's before we even mention the Nintendo exclusives - even Rabbids is a great game, challenging, entertaining and really well designed.
    You won't be disappointed...

We got this before Christmas and basically if you start adding other games in seems to discount them automatically. Zelda is wonderful but you'll probably want Mario Karts or Odyssey too.

Are you kidding me I’ve literally just bought the grey console on its own for £279 like 4 days ago from Tesco. Reckon if I take the receipt in they’ll give me the free game?

Tesco Direct has great customer service.

    I’ve milked them for bundles!

However, the following is true: Look after the customers, and the business will look after itself.

I have no hesitation when shopping with Tesco Direct ...
