Hi, every comment I make is held for review. Is this normal? Have I done something wrong? Is it temporary?

Moderating discussion is never easy. If 2 people are arguing then whatever decision you take will inevitably leave 1 person disappointed. Then when you have a whole load of people arguing, you disappoint a whole load of people We don't always get it right and we're prepared to admit that. So how you deal with it for us is perfect
You don't have to say anything bad. There are some saddos here who report anything and everything and those comments are invariably removed.
is there a moderator for the mods as I think some are over the top on what they take down and other things are left up.. they must bring personal views into play sometimes as they seem to side with other comments what are just as bad. But that’s just my opinion..
And it's beyond the wit of our tech guys to fix that?
The thread you were commenting in was flagged for moderation So it isn't to do with your account, it is just that single thread.
Its in the queue for review and fix but the priority on it isn't very high so I don't think it'll be fixed anytime soon i'm afraid.

Thank you.... I use to get a bit hot under the collar when conversation turned to abuse but now I just ignore comments and concentrate on trying to help fellow deal hunters.
It's every comment I make now. I'm not very pc but don't remember saying anything bad or even slightly bad. Unless they're super PC then maybe I did something without realising.
But yes, every comment is held until reviewed.
Yep same for me I had a moan about people whom don’t have anything good to say and now I’m moderated.
It's not on the forum. It's on deals. When I comment on a deal everything is held.
Yep! If you're quoting something which is in our word/expression blacklist it'll moderate it too

Your comments are not moderated either. I would imagine though looking at the comment you last made, it contained some words which are pre-moderated so we can review the type of content which tends to lead to arguments.

No. I'm not using a VPN. I may have in the past but most of the time I'm on my phone which rarely uses a VPN.
I stupidly didn't think about using the contact page. I see this as more of a community site and didn't think to do that.

I rarely get comments moderated but if you're on a thread that will cause inflammatory responses (eg, NSFW) every member's comment made will get flagged (those threads usually get closed after a while, suppose it's a pain for the mods to babysit).
Every now and then it's random for me.
I just posted it on misc and admin Said same. The point is it hasn’t been refreshed and it’s 1 year old. It should be back in deals as I typed just eat nothing came up

I believe it was the OP who got the wrong end of the stick last week in my case. The saddo part was (Heinz Tomato soup) that my comments were in SUPPORT of the OP's offerings
I don't think anybody could be bothered to actually CHECK what I said, just deleted it when reported?. I'm not gonna bore you with the next few emails between the Mods and myself (I wasn't happy) but suffice to say Jason (when I got him involved) was very helpful.

Is it normal to see a picture broken down in to a grid, where we have to select/ID a certain aspect? Traffic lights, boats, chimneys etc? I seem to be getting it every time I post
