A conversation starter for y'all here, what is in your honest opinion your favourite movie based videogame? Can be old or new, so on any console - past or present.
I am asking as movie based games are generally garbage because of how they are rushed to be released in good timing for the movie release or ready for Christmas etc, however you do find some hidden gems. My favourite movie based videogame is The SpongeBob Movie Game (surprise surprise eh, SpongeBob ) - I have it on GameCube

sorted byThe arcade version of Moonwalker by Sega was even better than the Megadrive version, it had 3 player co-op and was a scrolling isometric beat/dance-em-up.

There is only one winner. What a game.
Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex PS2. Not really based on a movie, but a TV series. Thing is, it’s not an amazing game, but it feels exactly like an episode of the series. The story, the setting and the amazing music.
The scenario and plot were written by folks who worked on the show. Which is why it felt so authentic.
Shame they animated the cutscenes in some proper fugly 3D instead of using traditional 2D animation.
Just to restress, the music is amazing!
They probably blew most of their budget on it.
Also on spectrum and Atari and everything it was just that good
Idk tomb raider movie was ok

Ice Age 3 on Wii, yes, great game
Agree.
End of thread right there.
Ghostbusters (speccy version) a very close 2nd, assuming the game came out after the film... I didn't get to play it until late 80's (edited)
