I've joined multiple site via Tapatalk where it says I can download and the one where I finally managed to download had a password on it which the owner hasn't responded.
KIA Gen 1.0, 4.0 Software + Map 2020
Kia and Hyundai use the same (gen1) head unit on the car I have so I'm not fussed if it says Kia 9r Hyundai just really would like the radio etc back as at the moment it's stuck on the Windows CE boot up.
Amy help fro you experts?

Downloading now on pc .... I don't know if it's right but sure looks it! I don't know how you found that but your amazing!
Sorry thats a bit dumb of me it's a 2011 Hyundai ix35. Thank you for pointing that out .
I went looking for the files myself because my 2021 Tucson map seems outdated but I've not actually had the bottle yet to try and update it, apparently when I get my first service through an official dealer they're supposed to install it as part of the service.
Let me know how you get on
I'm at the end of the road with this unit, the GPS receiver packed in so someone here suggested a new reciever (4,99 from Amazon) fixed it perfectly, but now it just boots to Windows CE 6 when we start the car so no radio, no GPS nothing if this fails I'll be doing what I'm preparing to do which is buy am aftermarket double din unit. Thank you once again and I'll let you know asap.
Hyundai and Kia updates are available for self-download since this year.
But a warning, the latest update had some serious flaws. (edited)
Can you explain the flaws, I'm considering updating my 2021 Tucson but don't want to break it as it is working fine but the maps a bit outdated. (edited)
Hmmm I definitely had the right software, excitedly plugged in, went through update and now seems to be stuck on the Hyundai logo FML! I'm going to remove the heading tomorrow and see if 8 can reset 8t as no reset on fascia. Wish me luck guys
I ask every time my Hyundai i30N goes for service and they never update the maps and navigation and they always forget.
Please have a look there: kiaownersclub.co.uk - Hyndai and Kia are the same company and have the same software
On my old Focus these were a godsend and they worked even without a mobile phones data tethering connection but on my Hyundai the cameras only work when I'm connected to the internet through my phone so if I have no data left I won't get camera warnings
Did it finally boot up? I updated mine today and after it restarted it froze on the Hyundai screen for about two minutes then powered up, strange thing is I was reversing when it booted up and the reverse camera screen stayed on showing the rear road even though I was driving forward.
A few minutes later it automatically re booted again and now everything is now working perfectly
Maybe try updating it again and make sure the engine is running, mine automatically started the update process when I inserted the sd card and no input from the cars screen was needed even though the instructions says you have to go through a load of menu options. (edited)
Nope mine is still stuck on the boot logo, before I updated it was on the win CE os and I noticed under memory it said 0 so I'm wondering if the internal memory has gone. Glad yours is working well, mines that old now I think I'll just buy an after market head unit.
