Well apart from being an inch bigger it probably uses the same panel as 'most' other 28" 4k monitors up to £700 (& probably uses the same cut down panels for 27")

My LG £700 LG Ultragear 27GP950 4K developed a line down the screen after only a year and a half (common on these displays) so I tried pressing along the line and made it a lot worse.
I figured they wouldn't honour any warranty so I've been looking at replacing it but what I've found is 'most' 4k monitors below £700 use the same 144hz panel with a 160hz over clock, they have local dimming (instead of full array) so back light bleed is horrendous and HDR - whether is comes as 400 or 600 - is pretty much useless.

They also have HDMI 2.1 for Xbox Series S/X and Ps5 and Display port 1.4 so seems like a great buy for the price.

Oh and I was going to add this as a deal yesterday to get some feedback but forgot so I've put it up and credited you

AGON PRO AG274QZM is also 27 inches and possesses an even better ultra-fast refresh rate of 240 Hz. Both models have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and boast Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) DisplayHDR 1000 certification - great HDR too . I have this monitor top notch - no matter what anyone says................

This monitor is 4k not 1440p

I realised that the ElectriQ monitor was too big for my monitor stand and view, so I chanced my arm with LG support. Unfortunately prodding the line - which made it worse - made LG deny the claim and is charging me £220 for replacing it

Anyhoo I'm sure you will enjoy this monitor and hopefully it will last more than a year and a half.

Been eyeing up their QHD mini-LED monitor for a while, but the price doesn't seem to vary much and there's so much choice

the HDR performance is poor on that MiniLED panel. Definitely a budget tier monitor
