    I keep seeing reviews which say how amazing and addictive this is. But it never looks very interesting in videos.

    Because it is not a game to watch but to play.
    Only by playing it you can taste how complicated it is.

    Game is okay but devolves into relying extremely on luck on harder difficulties

    It's the the equivalent of going to a casino but leaving immediately if your starting hand is bad, then going to the next casino and repeating

    Most roguelikes are balanced better so that harder difficulties are hard but fair (edited)

    It's a card game, not a traditional roguelike. Of course RNG will play a larger factor. (edited)

    This is the best indie game I've played in 2024 so far. Still yet to beat it, but every time, I get a little bit better (aside from those runs when I absolutely the bed).
