I think this is a great deal if you have an old monitor to trade in. In fact I did it last year when this offer first came out and I'm using the monitor now.
Have to say the panel is excellent and by far the best I've ever used. The touch side works well (with Win7) but really can't see any use for it.
Have some heat - it'll at least make the deal + degrees!
I currently still use my mointor for a lot of gaming and I don't think going from 2ms to 14ms is a good plan.
I'd have this otherwise though, if for surfing/CAD etc, as it's a real good find.

Was a good monitor for the price due to the IPS panel etc, the touch function I found pretty much useless apart from for the daughter who hasn't quite grasped the idea of a mouse interaction (problem with the touch screen generation I guess)
Cashback for recycle came through without a hitch, was combined with other Dell discount codes, Quidco paid up (after the usual delays) and can send them any old screen without much bother. Ensure it is well packaged up so no chance of courier putting a foot through it and I would go for a cheap 15" flat panel to send in is a better bet than a CRT once you factor in the postage costs! Don't forget the power lead and a signal (VGA) cable too

You need invoice number and serial number of unit before you can submit.
Just need a new PC now, maybe a trade-in on my old Dell which is just less than 5 years old

You are quoting from the FAQ. It's the T&C's that matter, and it is perfectly clear the that brand of the trade in item only matters for computer trade ins. Monitors are not even mentioned in the T&C's other than to say that the monitor deals are only available direct through Dell.
It specifically says that only applies to computer trade ins. There are no conditions on monitor trade in's, other than it has to be working, and it has to have the cables.
I read it closely and I'm confident enough in what it says to have ordered this. I have a crappy 17" 4:3 monitor in the loft which I'll be sending out to them.

You should be fine - as long as they are in good working condition & you need to send the power cables along with your monitors.
I sent a iiyama prolite 15" monitor (8 years) old & a Samsung 17" monitor/tv (7 years) old, for two Dell ST2220t monitors.

Probably sent by UPS, because they seem to delivery anything like that from Europe to me. It's usually a next day service once shipped.
I've got no idea how to package my monitor to send in, what's everyone else using?
