Remove Kindle Fire ads for FREE

Literally took 30 seconds!!! AMAZING! tenner saved....I have to be honest the advert never bothered my that much but its nice to get rid of them without having to pay anything....Here's the proof!....

Funkymonkeyboy: "Hi Sandra. One of your colleagues very helpfully removed adverts from my Kindle yesterday..."
Amazon Helper: "Yes, I can see that on your account. Is it to your satisfaction now?"
Funkymonkeyboy: "Actually, I wonder if you could put them back on, for me? Turns out I actually liked them, and now I miss them."

With the ads removed you can see the date and time without having to unlock the kindle

Spoke too soon! Just checked my email to find a message from Amazon thanking me for my £10 cancellation payment!!!!! Straight back on the phone and got this refunded!

Worked for me. Said the pitch about it costing £10 and policies have changed so it's no longer free. Said I was a loyal customer and they said they'd make an exception and take it away for free. Thanks folks!

Still works. Got asked for £10, I asked if they would waive it and they agreed. Ads removed for free

Thanks for this. Also did mine via live chat. They said it may take up to four hours for the ads to be disabled. Amazing what you learn and can save on HUKD. Heat added.

For anyone whos looking for where to do it the person who I spoke to said hes done it and it might take up to 4 hours as it hasn't worked yet for me other then it when I first turns it on but after that I still gets ads I'll comment on here after 4 hours with my results.

This is why I like my kobo ereader... none of this nonsense with ads to begin with.

Still, this is great for someone with the kindle!

Fantastic. Just bought the kindle fire hdx for the mum in law for £229. 5 days later a deal was posted for a price drop to £199 for one day only. Called them up and within 3 minutes was credited with £30. Happy days. Love em.
