I'm very close to buying a new sofa from DFS. However, I was informed by a DFS member of staff that their prices are non-negotiable because they offer interest free purchases. Is that just a sales line? If it's true I can accept it, but if there's a chance of a discount, I'll go for it!

ha ha, I waited 3 months for mine to be delivered and only though of measuring to see if they'd fit the day before they came :w00t::oops:
Make sure also, that you take a witness with you to hear their conversation, and if needs be, ask for their sales manager.
Worked for me about 7 yrs ago. Got £200 off and 0%.
That's a good idea! At least I can then say it's too big, but I'll take it if I get a discount:w00t:
