It is a very common misconception. MSG is just monosodium glutamate which exists naturally in many food ingredients. Real issue is using too much of it.

I actually bought a tub of this in the week after learning it's the same stuff used at actual Chinese places for the regular 'curry' they do (whether it be chicken, etc). Tastes the same!

Forgot to vote hot before it expired! But I managed to buy some before it went OOS so thanks OP. Only annoyance was from the start of checkout it was delivery next day but by the end it was May 1st
