Pro 650 same price in BandM and Saverstore why is this getting so much heat also the Pro 2 2500n is £29.99 in BandM and these are their normal price not some Black Friday rubbish

I saw those prices for 650 and 2000 in superdrug store and that was about month ago. Also standard price on Amazon

Yup, sadly we are seeing everyone jumping on the Black Friday bandwagon and advertising standard offers as something special. Takes the P when we are now at the stage where it's literally Black November instead of a proper Black Friday. (annoyed)

Agreed, the RRP'S on electric toothbrushes is always way OTT so it's an easy target for "massive black Friday deals"

The 650 was down to £17.95 back in July, the 2000N has also been cheaper, the others have been around these prices also (if not cheaper) so this really isn't a good deal for Black Friday, it's just another cash in on the event.

Looks to be a good price at the moment. Might come down further for Black Friday.

Yeah, I dunno why people get so caught up on having to have Li-ion battery. I had an Oral B 3000 before this one, only about £30 but that lasted me 5 years.

Exact same reason why I purchased an older white one many years ago, cost me £100 at the time but it's lasted me nearly 5 years and I've only now decided to replace as battery is on its last legs

I have this but the white one. it's practically dead now. literally exactly at the 2 year mark. was gonna upgrade at a massive cost but will just replace with this, even though it's discontinued. I paid £80 so this is a bargain!

Does this have the same motor with the same oscillation speed a as the higher end ones? When I bought my last Oral B brush, i discovered that apart from the two basic models, the rest all shared the same motor/speed/power!

The Oral B you need is the Pro2 2000: everything you need, including the Li-ion battery, without the gimmicks you'll never use. About £30. If this one only has the old Ni-Mh battery then it's to be avoided. Oral B RRPs are beyond a joke!

Much like Amazon reviews, which normally go something like "Not used it yet, but sure it'll be fine. 5-stars"

I am afraid people on this site do not understand prices and they just vote for sake of voting. It takes time and effort to decide if a deal is good or bad.Take this site with a pinch of salt.

It amazes me that this pricing continues to fool people that it's a deal. The regular price.is about £20 sometimes as much as £25. But from time to time stores have it at some 'creative' price so they can claim it's half price. For example Boots have a slightly different variant supposedly reduced from £49.99 to £24.99.

Always one A**h**e

That's ok, I share my electric toothbrush with my 11-year-old son - he has the blue band and I've got the yellow one. The toothbrush heads are easy to swap around for a child as well (my son finds it easy enough).

Have tried the cross action and Tri Zone, how do these compare.

I've bought replacement toothbrush heads before - in the pack you usually get 4 different coloured bands that fit around the brush head.

Worth checking the clearance section at your local Tesco. Mine appears to have discontinued the 8 packs, and I picked up a few at £4 each.

great price for original oral b toothbrush heads - not the cheap stuff you get on ebay or amazon. they normally go for £20+ - stock up while on offer i say!

Just wanted to say that I have been buying these on eBay (for less than the above price) and there is nothing wrong with them, as they definitely are the same, original ones as at the shops...Having said that, this is a good deal nevertheless:)

I got one in Asda Saturday, I can recommend it. Teeth feel so much cleaner. Comes with 1 brush head and a travel case. A light comes on if you are brushing too hard. Think I will get one for my sons xmas. Comes in pink or black

If you apply the code ELECTRICAL10 then it brings the price down to £72 = £24 per toothbrush

Besford: No, it's a waste of money. All you need is the Pro2 2000/2500 (posted here at £30 at the moment)). It's 3D, Li-ion (2 weeks charge) and has a pressure indicator (helpful but not necessary). Anything above that is just loaded with gimmicks (and profit). Do go for one though - your teeth really will thank you for it! Thanks for the advice guys, will probs hold out for a month too myself (y)

if you have never used an electric toothbrush then I would recommend one. I used to have a basic model than bought the smart 6 on a deal because at the time it was the cheapest with a lithium ion battery. I do notice the difference between the cheapest model and the smart 6. Not tempted to buy anything more expensive than that and holding out for Black Friday before getting one for a relative. Voted hot for the price, still not buying one.

Thanks OP. We've got a family of oral B brushes and needed a diff coloured one! The 'handy' coloured collars aren't really cutting it in our house

Such as?

Depends what value you put on the 'free' travel case. Same handle (albeit different colour). Both a good price and at the 'sweet spot' of the Oral B range. You won't go wrong with either of them.

Been waiting for this one to come on offer for my girlfriend. She didn't wan't the same as mine (Black) and doesn't like pink, so this was the only one she'd consider. (cheeky) Personally I'd suggest going with the 2500N £30 offer - I bought that last week. Same as this but with a £10 carry case for £2.01 .. :{

Think i might go for this to replace the 12 year old one i have which is only just starting to show it's age, cheers op

Yes. Some of the previous bases were bigger but toothbrushes charge on both.

Is the charging base the same as the old ones? (So I can use one base for charging old and new)

Bought one to replace my 5 year old one thanks

The Pro 2 2000N is an Amazon deal of the day at £27.99. The only difference is it is blue and there is no carriage case.

2D only This price in B&M and other places Lacks power Disposable batteries Battery door jams after a few months Nah..............

I hear these can be better than the rechargeable ones? I end up having to replace my rechargeable one every year or so anyway as it takes so long to charge and only gives full power for a few mins.

Compatible with the entire lineup of Oral-B electric toothbrushes, except for Oral-B sonic toothbrushes.

I tend not to go there as very expensive but will pop in tomorrow, plus I love there hummus lol x

Pure marketing.... In children, generally it comes down to what they put in their mouth...and it matters not one jot, on the brand of toothpaste they use. Crisps, fizzy sugary drinks, and so on are the main culprits. As an example, with crisps the starch which is good and sticky, turns to sugar and get trapped between teeth...The answer in most cases, but not all, a good cleaning regime, plus flossing. A dentist can prescribe, toothpaste with a high flouride content, which can help, but there are plenty of articles on the down side of flouride, as always, DYOR... BB

Maybe he has a dental problem. Gum disease etc best to get it checked out. Not sure toothpaste is the real reason.

I'm not a professional tooth cleaner so can't buy.

My dad uses the 69p toothpaste and his breath smells like dogs dodos

Almost £2 for a toothpaste on offer and that only 75ml. Is it worth it or is it just marketing hype? Does anyone know what Stannous Fluoride Complex actually means? Not knocking down the op on any way just wondering what reasons somebody would pay this amount as opposed to 69p Colgate toothpaste which has fluoride in it and that gives you 100ml as well.
