Returning to Amazon Germany

I always thought Amazon was in South America. Those Germans sure are sneaky if they moved it.

In future just save the stress of uncertain returns etc by buying from the UK . Was the stress /uncertainty you face worth the few quid you saved ? You wouldn't buy a phone from Banggood , EGlobal any Chinese seller etc as you cannot feasibly return it and have no warranty in the EU so why try to save a couple of quid when your return status is uncertain ?

Its no different to Amazon Uk but unless its defective I cant see how you can return it after 3 weeks. If it is faulty then you will be able to return it plus get your postage reimbursed. Its all the same procedure , open a return but you will need to send it back via your own method. Amazon Europe usually states they will reimburse €8 for postage but I always get the full amount back as long as you send them the postage receipt .

Yes they have a 30 day return policy (including phones), you will need to pay carriage to Germany. Prime only applies in the country it was purchased, each Amazon operates independently.

Go to post office and ask for tracked and signed to Germany .
Couple of pounds extra but pice of mind and you can track it your self online.

The same as UK but the 30 days isnt so you can use it and return it without a good cause.
You can return an item 30 days of receiving them as long as they are returned in complete, unused and undamaged condition.

Royal Mail does not insure mobile phones.

The only thing I would say is they offer a small amount of postage to cover returns which probably wouldn't cover insurance I returned something and lost £21 on postage and insurance. I kept the receipt but Amazon.de refused to give me the difference but other people have been more successful.

It states "Lithium" whereas mobiles use Lithium-ion and there is a difference.

​it was more than just a couple of quid saving, it was £100 less.

Hi guys is the refund time actually 14 business days or is that just an estimate? And how do I claim back the delivery costs ? Thanks
