About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I use a price tool to detect price changes. Apologies if some of these have already been identified in a advertised sale. Most of these were over £20+ a while ago but dropped to £2.99 now.
HD-DVD only (apart from the last few) so don't get too excited. Also some may have gone out of stock. I checked the majority of them but not all.

sorted bythis guy is one of the reasons HUKD has off the boil by posting stupid posts as he has no life , how can you comment when u own neither format , the majority of HD-DVD users got there players cheap and are benefiting from cheaps films as well which makes them the winners and people like you the losers in this :whistling:
So glad to have made an impression.
I am happy that you had something to "discuss" in a thread which I presumed
would be expired/removed before now due to duplication whilst I was out
trying to "find a life" and working out why I am still such a "loser and a moron"
One innocent + sarcastic post and HUKD "bouncers" lay into you
Merry Christmas to you as well.....................:santa:
Great prices for us HD-DVD owners
Ah HD-DVD owners ( the ones who made the WRONG choice!! ) LoL
I got both HD-DVD and Blu-ray:)
Talk about hedging your bets?!?!? That's almost the same as buying 14,638,138 lottery tickets :whistling:
( I am yet to make my choice btw )
I got the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player for peanuts.
Prefer my PS3/Bluray cos it's quieter lol.
In my experience people generally vote re-posts cold ^^
probably because it's already been posted numerous times and the hmv £2.99 hd-dvd prices goes back about 7 months :whistling:
Is there still a choice? I was under the impression blu-ray or downloads were the only choices.
This has been posted many many times but yes they are a true bargain. I always preferred HD-DVD and still do. But I have both so not a great problem, huge bargain basement HD library on HD-DVD now too :-D
Not unless he has the HD-DVD add-on...
Spending a few £ per Hd-dvd is almost the same as spending £14,638,138 on lottery tickets?
blu ray / hd-dvd, makes no difference once they're ripped to your hard drive.
That not a bit harsh ?
Where have you BEEN?! The choice has been made for you. HD-DVD was discontinued in the first quarter of the year.
what an almighty moron you are.
voting cold, as these have been available for over 6 months.
The required add on HD DVD player is available for £27.99 at Blah hotukdeals.com/ite…352
Has been around £29 at Amazon, Game, Gamestation and PCW too, deals come and go but supplies seem to be drying up because of the HMV cheapies.
PS: I have had both, and much preferred HD-DVD as it goes, would have much preferred them to have 'won the war' (hate that phrase).
Go back to VHS vs Beatmax, betamax was the best in terms of quality but it was bullied out of the market. In respect of Blu Ray Vs HD DVD the better format won, it holds more data to start off with!.
Re download speed - yes they will improve over time but for many people the exchanges are NOT scheduled to be upgraded for some YEARS. So at the moment blu-ray prices are dropping the players can now be purchased for sub £100, just like DVD players 5 years ago prices are coming down and the base is growing ask how many people purhcased a PS3 just becuase of Blu-Ray - this is one hell of a debate -
Re this post - Cold they have been this price for what seems a lifetime
here here
and i get a warning for my comments from the oh-so mighty rayman who aint got anything better to do than warn people like the naughty school children that we are
Yeah I totally see where you're coming from, but I think medium/long term that physical media will die off. To a point people still prefer to actually have something real to hold for their money, but I think its inevitable that we are heading in the download direction.
Same to you
:gift:
one post stating the obvious, and its the usual pathetic "oh you are all HUKD bouncers" comment
