I got a bluetooth receiver from Amazon and linked it up to my retro Sony Amp (160 watts) paired up with a pair of Pioneer 3 way speakers with 8 inch bass drivers.

Second hand amps/speakers can be found on ebay for decent money.

The sound is epic done this way, trust me

This Amp is a bargain (6 ohm)

Reckon he'll take £60 plus delivery if you offered that

Scroll down for a pair of suitable speakers (100w per channel, 8 ohm) would be best

Why didn't you just plug it into the amp directly, via it's dedicated phono input, rather than using the digital, lossy codec that is any iteration of bluetooth? I mean you're completely negating the (largely anecdotal) benefits of vinyl.

So, just connect this to decent speakers and away? No need for amps etc?

Hear lots about bouncy arms etc, this a good one?

    Absolute noob, obvs.

No you'll need an active speaker (powered) or amplifer connected to speakers unfortunately still

    InTheKnow444's avatar
Alexa bluetooth is outgoing only - no?

I’ve got this and my daughter did something bad to it… now it’s always skipping.

Any tips to help fix it? I’ve looked online and changed the stylus (which was ruined) but it’s still doing it…

Is it balanced properly with the correct amount of pressure being appllied to the vinyl by the stylus? :/
