Heat from me the thank you. We watched Rogue One last week and were given a couple of "2 tickets for £12" to be used by end of January which I thought was a good deal. This is so much better
As excluded films Rogue One, Silence, Assassin’s Creed, A Monster Calls and La La Land make up 90% of screens its a bit of a waste of time. Shame on you Odeon
Yeah see above. Already posted with all relevant info & restrictions

Can these cards be used with additional discount? For example Nandos discount for NHS staff?

I don't see why not, it's just like an alternative form of cash - great idea if you can! :)

Thank you :)
I bought three today from Hornsea Tesco and it worked. It's a dual "pouched" card for night out and there was a small sign, but only very small/
Went to my local Tesco at Baldock specifically to buy this, and they don't know anything about it! No signs up either on the gift card section. Where did you find out about this as I'd really like to get this as a present?

Confirmed.
Yeah good point. I think it's more thriller rather than straight up horror but I'm starting to think it's probably Manchester by the sea now anyway. Will see on Monday
Isn't Split a horror film though? It doesn't include horror films
I've booked some tickets! Mcavoy and Shyamalan are in London that night for a special screening of split! It would seem to fit that it's that. If not then I'm sure it'll be a decent movie whatever it is so worth a try

Anyone done this yet? How long do the codes take to arrive? Surely they don't take all the 38 days do they?
Can someone clarify if the bundles are recurring or a one off? They seem to be recurring so one would need to cancel?
Quickblood
I'll have to see if you need to use the tickets at the same time or a loner like me can use it to see a couple of movies.

As you claim them separately it seems safe.

Customers must purchase a genuine Lycamobile SIM with £10 or above credit, or a £7.50 or above bundle online at http://www.lycamobile.co.uk between 1st December 2016 – 31st March 2017 (“the Promotional Period”). The online purchase page will capture the following details; first name, last name, address, email address and mobile number.

Customers will receive an email within 38 days with a link to the claim page asking them to register their Lycamobile purchase within 7 days.

Valid customers will receive a confirmation email within 14 days. This will contain a link to their two unique promotional codes and the Url that customers will need to visit to enter in their codes to redeem two cinema ticket vouchers. Customers have 7 days to redeem their codes from email dispatch. The link will expire after 7 days.

Once the two unique promotional codes have been redeemed, customers have 12 months to use their codes to get their two free cinema ticket vouchers by entering in the codes to book a film.

Customers will then receive a booking confirmation email from ODEON with the cinema ticket vouchers attached.

cineworld is much better

For a lot of people that's a moot point, whether you're right or not, because they either live near a cineworld or near an Odeon. I live 5 mins from an Odeon, and 45 mins from a Cineworld. Guess which I'm a member of?
cineworld is much better

I am considering this actually because I spend like £17+ each visit on food and tickets! I'm trying to weigh up the pros and the cons but really really considering it.

I personally consider you going for it.. The first month after I bought it I saw 8 movies that were supposed to be £9.50 each so that's near on £80 in just one month so take off the £18 limitless cost and I saved around 60 pound ish.. Depends if you think you're going to get your monies worth really. It can be used for silver screen too. I saw BFG today. Imho it's worth the money.. Plus I believe you can pay a little extra on the day if you wanted to see 3d movies and you can keep your glasses :) heat added
Entered the code on two separate cards and got the code accepted but nothing on the order itself. Odd.
It's an email that was sent out, but it's not restricted to Odeon members, although they seem to have done a pretty shoddy job at marketing this offer. I'd upload a screengrab of the email but I can't figure a way to upload a photo (is there a way?) When you click on the Get Deal link, you then click Join Today and on the next page there's a toggle link that says: "Do you have an ODEON Limitless gift membership voucher or promotional code?" That's where you enter "BLACK30" in the promotional code box, after clicking on the link. Odeon then confirms that the code has been entered (although it doesn't actually confirm at any point what the code will give you).

I'm sure if you call Odeon they'll be able to confirm that you'll get the gift card, in case you're worried about it not going through. Hope this helps!

just put odeon ticket or odeon code in eBay search and choose a bundle of tickets. you usually have between 3 and 12 months to use the tickets. check with the seller the expiry dates if it's not listed on the description.
There's some that say in description they expire 2 weeks after purchase. I queried this and he told me 31st Dec is actual expiry date. I've never had an odeon code not work for me.

Yes, Scotland, but not the beginning of June. Even when I were a lad, the schools finish last week in June (Usually after 28th June) and back mid-August.
For the past couple of years some of the council areas have even nudged the break into July.
alg, of course, you are correct.
I don't know what I was thinking of when I typed June instead of July, as that would be 10 weeks off school for the little blighters rather than six. :)

And six is more than enough. X)

Not at all, just Baaaaaaaaaa ACCURATE INFO POOPER. Viewers of deals on here need all the relevant info, so they can make a sensible purchase decision. Basic HUKD and general rule of life stuff. Thank you, carry on with the party.

It's a free kids entry only. Not a free entry for adult. You need a paying adult. Which makes it not really that amazing a deal as this is about the easiest thing to get anyway and you probably have a few vouchers for it in your kitchen cupboards. The free kids entry to a Sealife, is included with numerous cereals, biscuit packets, crisps, and many more things. It's been available for years and no deal really. The adult ticket prices are always over the top. They are just trying to draw everyone in that might not have gone otherwise with the premise of a deal. More gift shop/café shop sales to at inflated prices! Bit of a scam IMHO.

Usually £5 so prices must have gone up!
Although latest releases were more expensive.
Only £5 at Odeon Stoke
I'm pretty sure it was £5.50 before, so the price has gone up?
Isn't this the normal price here?
Voted hot, although a pretty grubby cinema. I much prefer Vue but can't argue at the price.

Just a heads up for anyone interested, Odeon are now taking bookings for a Double Bill (So Star Trek and ST: Into Darkness) for £5. Details here.
Have to agree. Darkness is an abomination. 2009 is wonderful, so hopefully Beyond will restore the faith.
Cold because into darkness is terrible and not worth paying to see
Have to wait and see what tribute they do for Anton.
that's a long time to be sat in a cinema :| but great films :D

Does this include Huddersfield, the family of 4 deal
This should get more heat, think it's a pretty deal for the family films at the moment.

It was actually cheaper to pick this option £6.25 pp for the family of 4 inc food + drinks than the standard £7 pp option.
Then drink and popcorn would of easily been £10 on top.
This offer is now available for £25 across all Odeon cinemas

Sounds a great deal but would check out if this offer includes what Odeon say are there blockbusters movies which are generally new films that majority of people want to watch. Odeon do the reverse with these and charge £1 per ticket extra so could cost you more than other cinemas. The last 50% discount offer didn't include the "blockbusters" so a bit of a smoke and mirrors offer again to draw us in.

we saw the secret life of pets today, tickets would have been £38 for 2 adults and 2 kids and another £10 for the family mix of drinks and popcorn. So we saved £18 on the deal.

Rather than waste extra time driving/money to cinema plus food, been available as a 1080p download for a while that know how.
It is action, sci fi, fantasy, adventure... while not great by any means it is worth a watch, and films are better in the cinema. So I would suggest getting reduced ticket prices if possible... so this ideal.
don't bother awful film
There's something endearingly 'Harryhausen' about how bad it is but it's not completely unwatchable... O.o

I've never had a problem cancelling with them. I've always cancelled straight after subscribing. Not sure how people not cancelling on time makes a company scammers? Each to their own I guess.

Does anyone know if it is OK to take a 7 month old baby in to the screening? I can't see anything on the Cineworld website.

Yes you can take a baby :) I go regularly, lots of people take babies and young children, a little bit of noise is expected as it's purely for the kids, no need to feel uncomfortable taking your little one :)

You'll see when you go that you needn't have worried but to be on the safe side taking a baby, I'd recommend taking another adult who can stay with any older kids you might have if you need to take the baby out. As you can see, it's a touchy subject for some people, so to avoid you feeling uncomfortable if the baby gets noisy this gives you the option to calm the little one away from shaking heads etc.

Do they do parkinsons screenings?

Erm it's a cinema, noise it's expected. it's movies for juniors not for babies. winds me up people taking noisy babies or allowing kids to do whatever they want. I take my children they sit quietly and watch the film.
I said 'a little bit of noise' no one said anything about allowing there children to run riot, mines 3 and sits quietly most of the time but can get fidgety towards the end it is expected with young children, people are well within their rights to take babies and young children to the cinema, who are you to tell them they can't....
Erm i'm a paying customer in a cinema who doesn't want to hear noise from people's children OR BABIES,especially as mine can sit there quietly !

update - on webchat with Groupon they confirmed voucher works in all odeons except the 3 or so main ones in central london,
Chat advisor wasn't much (any) help with booking odeon tickets online process, just said to print and bring the codes into the Odeon...

Don't have much time now, was always going to be tight now with deal finishing so soon, so I just cancelled and they refunded me already...

ps. This is 2nd Groupon deal that i've had refunded which was good service from them (other one was UC4 groupon deal disaster)
so generally happy that they refund vouchers with no quibbles cheers

Sorry to state obvious but tickets only work on 2D films and standard seats - is that what you are trying to book ?

Finally used ours this week - booked online - saw the new Ghostbusters (seemed disjointed some parts were ok) and Tarzan (which we enjoyed)

Hope you get yours sorted :)

Works with the £6 Mon-Thurs ticket deal so an adult ticket at London Covent Garden comes down to £3.60. Can't get any cheaper than that in central London.
a deals a deal I guess. but makes sense to use meerkat and actually go watch what you want to watch

To the person complaining about the inability to combine a meerkat discount with a monthly unlimited plan, how would this even work?
You can do so with Cineworld's Unlimited Card, but I agree with the rest of your post. The ticket purchased with the Unlimited card counts as the paid ticket then you use a Meercat code to get a free one. Odeon could easily have implemented this too but I guess they thought it would cost them too much in lost revenue?

Edited By: loop on May 23, 2016 00:51: Detail
While Odeon do have terrible staff with a sole duty (push as much non-movie related, highly marked up confectionary & drinks on their average consumers), if I'm offered 40% off a £10ish ticket, this is a good deal.
For all the folks complaining about lack of quality programming available at Odeon screens, I was able to see 'Hail Caesar' & 'Midnight Special' recently, both at a discount.
