Very expensive in Salisbury too as no competition and it's an historic building so I guess we pay towards the upkeep. Thank goodness for the Vodafone offer that's currently running!

I live in Lincoln where there’s not much competition. Odeon here is like 12.50 or around that per ticket! I go cinema maybe 3 times a year because of this! I used to live in Birmingham where amc was as cheap as 3.50!

This was on in Braehead, I was in picking up tickets and there was a poster on the counter about it.

My odeon (Canterbury) is around £8

we were £35 for 2 adults 1 child then £8.50 for a juice and popcorn for wee one in braehead x

I paid around £110 from someone selling a spare one on ebay. Odeon Bournemouth is a fab cinema and charges £12+ so I’ve been saving quite a bit the last 7 months. However with myVodafone offering a weekly deal of £7 for two tickets it’s going to be hard to justify renewing Limitless even at the posted offer.

Oooh my mums with HSBC. Think I need to get a bigger Mothers Day gift (cheeky)

If you go through the take time out offer that was on HSBC Avanced Rewards you get this deal for £150 (not a vast saving but equals your snacks for a couple of goes)

Vue is sh it though. They leave the lights on during the film.

So just crap paper posters that you used to get just by going into the cinema when you were like 10? Or are we talking the sort of quality print Disney did for last 2 star wars films ie original artwork and not just a literal movie poster.

Odeon and Vue always have various posters given away free every single day depending on what's showing at the moment. They're really pushing hard with the marketing on this film. There's so many random Captain Marvel articles on social media, with everyone complaining to stop talking about it (lol)

They're a4 paper posters

are these actually posters? Or more A4 Leaflets at the ticket counter lol

Agree with you about that, that’s why I never trusted it. Hopefully the new change works

I trust Rotten Tomatoes... Rotten Tomatoes has made a big change to stop trolls slamming new films like Captain Marvel. They finally removed a Tool Trolls have been abusing for years! https://www.stylist.co.uk/life/rotten-tomatoes-changes-review-options-to-stop-trolls-unseen-films-captain-marvel/254132 https://www.inverse.com/article/53592-captain-marvel-rotten-tomatoes-shuts-down-ways-users-troll-new-films

Considering Alien, Terminator 2 are my favourite movies and Wonder Woman is one of my favourite comic book movies I really doubt that Pablo. You keep thinking that for people who ain’t like sheep though (y)

No, Rotten Tomatoes is generally considered to be more focused on movies than Metacritic. Do you dislike this movie because it has a lady in it by any chance.

Rotten tomatoes is the worst thing that’s happened to movie reviews. Metacritic is the one you want. And just for you before it gets removed https://nerdist.com/article/captain-marvel-review-round-up-mixed/

Thanks OP, took my 3 little cousins, worked out £10.00 for us. Got done on the food combo but overall great saving. Thanks Kids loved the film.

Thanks OP, glad didn't get round to seeing this at Christmas, glad I didn't now, as this was a great saving for the 4 of us :) Missus and I loved it, and the kids were pretty quiet and sat still for 2hrs, so can't be bad :) Screen wasn't too busy in my Odeon and all the kids seemed pretty well behaved :)

Thanks op... Top movie watched it after you posted 👌

the level of cheapness????Its a savings website! Since when was £2.50 a cap for the lowest amount of reductions. Your vitriol towards this poster is unnecessary and going beyond a simple comment into wether or not they post deal!!! Really ? Btw if you are so concerned about the cinemas making a profit you really shouldn't be on this site, there are.plenty of deals on hukd that take advantage of loopholes potentially affecting business. As Pas and Bas say "Do one!"

Hey, if you have any offer from Vodafone today for odeon can you kindly send me today please as going movies will help alot. Thank you

Errrr am i missing something this is not a special half term deal. The family tickets are always available for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 kids. So what's new?

You can openly take your snacks to cinemas (I've only checked Odeon and Vue as they're the two near me). The only restrictions are no hot food or alcohol.

I think these family tickets are incredibly unfair. Cineworld is the same. Why do they insist that a family should comprise two adults and two children or 1 adult and 3 children? I know plenty of single parent families with one adult and two kids, who would welcome an offer like this.

Feels like this deal is priced wrong. Similar to how phone contracts have to be priced up for the full term the cost of this deal isn't £5.75 but should be the total cost of a family? It's a deal all the same and I've voted hot just think it isn't clear from the price that I as an adult need some kids to get this deal until I read the detail.

I used Chili a couple of times with the free credit but, in my opinion, the sound quality was too compressed and sounded really tinny. Video quality was fine. Used the ODEON code to see Captain Marvel in IMAX 3d yesterday and got a tenner off so was still worth it overall (y)

Ah, I'll try contacting them. Thanks.

It's meant to come from Chili, I think you have to register the Groupon via a Chili/Odeon microsite if I'm not mistaken.

I bought this offer from Groupon on the 24th of Jan and still haven't received my cinema ticket voucher. Is it supposed to come from Groupon or Chili? Groupon customer service were pretty unhelpful, apparently the groupon was showing as unredeemed even though I've redeemed the credit and spent it.

Apparently there's an issue with the cinema ticket code redemption at the moment, mine just says I've entered email more than twice?

It has never worked for me. I'm also on a pay monthly contract. Vodafone support is no help.

Since November, £10 BVB. The thing to watch with this offer is it is once only so the following months you don’t get the 2GB extra free. My next bundle will be the 6PACK which gives 8GB for effectively £10pm. The very me offers I find much better than o2 priority.

Great! I’m trying to get to your question “why it’s getting cold”. When people see 10% discount on what they know is £15 tickets, doesn’t sound that attractive. But if you describe as you did above, it will look much more appealing to the eyes of the voters (and really, a good deal).

Yes but you can combine with offer when buying other tickets with them I had 2 £5 pre paid tickets, used points for Child ticket and then only needed to pay for another child but because I booked online cost me £4.80 instead of 8.90. As the discount is on the whole price. Like I said great offer if you book smart.

Buying tickets directly from Odeon is not the smartest choice when you have vodafone 2 for £7 and so many other promotions. Even eBay sells ticket codes for £6 or less.

Yeah but if ya book smart then your getting 10% off per ticket which is more than booking fee.

I think the 75p per ticket is a rip off if I am honest

Split is actually on Netflix now , I just watched it last night, breakable watched a long time ago, not too fussed by these films so will wait until glass shows up on Netflix . Even tho he seems to be hated on , I quite enjoy M night Shyamalan movies a lot , but not too thrilled with this series.

its on youtube, they must know - they are letting it stay up for now to make the new film more approachable and get more profit form the cinema screening. It wont be up for long though. I mean Split. finished Split -its a very good film. Curious now to know what David Dunn's been doing for 2 decades.

Yeah. It does explain a little as to what went on the previous films

Anyone know if you can use the credit for merchandise? I'm already happy enough with the price just for the cinema tickets and so free merch too if possible would make this deal even sweeter!

Buying means you keep the film(s) forever, or at least for as long as the Chili service exists, so yes you can do that. You can use it for a pre-order also. I did that for Ralph Breaks The Internet, given that the credit would've expired when that film is released anyway that's pretty good. You could also rent movies but bear in mind you have 27 days to watch the rentals. I'm sure it used to be 30, but I rented a movie for 90p the other day using an offer and from the moment I rented it, on my account it said expires in 27 days.

What is the best use of Chili credit given it expires shortly? Can I buy some movies for online watching now but watch them within next few months, would that work ?
