The Last Jedi did not disappoint. Solid installment, possibly even the best, in the Star Wars franchise.

Very entertaining especially in IMAX 3D.

As this starts on a Wednesday, will you be able to use a Meerkat code?

Possibly but depends on which cinema you wish to go to? Vue's site accepted a Meerkat code for the Kingsman double-bill whilst Cineworld's site wouldn't. Most, if not all, cinemas seem to have cottoned on now with the regards to Meerkat codes and if you try using any other promotional code or offer then they won't allow you to also use a Meerkat code. Empire and Cineworld for example no longer accept Meerkat codes on Super Saver Tuesdays whereas previously they used to.
So for free you get to sit through the abomination that was The Force Awakens. Perhaps that might give the new one a glimmer of 'new hope' that its any good, after just seeing the other one, it can only get better.

I wonder will they in a 10min meeting to do exactly like they did in the last 3 movies, sneek in to take down (poorly defended) defences and then blow a monster sized weapon up, that managed to be built again without anyone noticing.
I've got tickets booked to see VIII on day one, but I'll just watch VII on blu ray the day before - can't be done with sitting in the cinema for 5 hours watching them back to back at my age!

I left it until the last month - only to be told that the next lot of vouchers had already been sent out. I should have argued, I know - but I said, OK, cancel it when those run out. Except of course, yet another book of vouchers duly arrived. I got annoyed then and they did cancel and refunded the last charge they made. But each time they do the hard sell of trying to talk you out of leaving and won't just accept:"I'm leaving, don't take any more money". Then they kept phoning trying to get me to renew. I'd never go near them again.

I had that problem in the past so I've gone for the 3 month digital edition this time and set a reminder for ten weeks time to cancel the subscription and the PayPal payment.
