does anyone know if they do the box of tea lights in stores too, or is it just online?
Poundshop.com doesn't have a physical "store" - last I heard it was taken over by the Hereforapound owners and Poundland owners?

I'm regularly in both Pound -world and Pound -land and have yet to see these items in stores.

Couldn't find any......but then I realised I'd been in Poundland!! Doh.

Has anyone seen any in the Hull stores?
Love Earl Grey.
How do people type these comments with their little finger crooked out like that?
Not a bad Earl Grey but surprisingly not widely available. :{
cainer1
has anyone found these in any stores?
these pound places seem to list very cheap offers on their websites yet very few people actually find them available in stores
maybe its time to ban posting their website prices unless the OP's actually finds them in store and available themselfs
I've never found any of these Poundstretcher deals.

I have applied for this several times and never heard anything back..

I'm thinking this is an offer from last year as it says:

'Claim one of 5,000 free samples of Tea India Chai
Celebrate the Holi festival of colours with these vibrant drinks'

Holi festival was celebrated on 12th March this year and 23/24 in 2016

I don't often complain (believe that if you will!) but.... I signed up for this, was swamped with trashy emails and newsletters of no relevance to me and never received the original freebie that I'd signed up for. Easy enough to unsubscribe though, which I did.
Always, always, always have a junk email account for these sort of things, really saves all the bother! ;)
I do,thanks but this is good advice for everyone.

Also free drinks in the cafe if you buy food.
Teapig herbal teas available in the cafe as well. This offer has been on for a while but some people still don't know about it at they are still paying for drinks !!
But definitely makes me go in more often than I used to so it has worked from a marketing point of view
How dare a company only have outlets in the 'North' and not London. They then have the cheek to offer a freebie which is then plainly not available to Londoners. Call the Mayor of London, get this outrage stopped now !
gabesdad
So it's a minority offer that only customers would know about really, and in one area of the country.
but its free and you're complaining

Still on the shelves!!
This IS a good cup of tea. If you want to talk about Vile tea then Tetleys is the way forward. Leave a horrid taste in your mouth too.

Very good price. Cheapest I have ever seen Yorkshire at is £1.17 when on offer in Waitrose.
Have some Heat!
As somebody who originates from Yorkshire, all I can tell you is that this stuff tastes nothing like the lovely cups of tea you get up North.
I was trying to think of the correct way of describing this tea. I went through a number of words, phrases and ways to explain the taste. In the end I decided to go with a simple one:
Vile
But each to their own I guess....except in this case.....you're very wrong if you thing these taste in any way, nice.

might be a good price but stopped buying these when they reduced the tea in the bag and kept the price the same, Unilever said no one would be able to tell, well they were wrong there, their shareholders certainly can :(
I've gone back to Tetley for this reason as 1 teabag of pg too weak for a decent cup of tea :(

Can I order two of these breakfasts with the same card for £1.50 each or will we both need a family card to get them both at this price?
I think you will find that Family means more than one person, and mostly consists of 2 parents and any number of offspring.
All the family card means is that you're a member of the 'Ikea Family', you can order as many breakfasts as you can eat without a requirement to have kids or a partner.
That said Swedes are big on family life because unlike here they have well funded and comprehensive public services to make that possible. It's written into their psyche, to reorientate society around family rather than place such a huge emphasis on work like we do here.
Kindaa contradicting yourself there I think.

Where do you think I am contradicting myself? I'm just correcting what you said and emphasising why the Swedes are big on family life. It's not a contradiction. A cultural emphasis on family life and a loyalty scheme where you join a family are two things that are not opposed to each other, they're actually quite complimentary.

Do these have strings or are they "proper" tea bags ?
These are conventional no-string teabags.

Tesco has just had these on offer but I found them to be very weak, spent ages letting brew very disappointing
Yep these companies are now just trading on there name!
Very weak tea's and the bags are only half full from when they used to have twice as much a few years ago, thats why I don't buy these types of tea anymore..
Not even worth the discounted price being advertised here!

I thought the whole point of these 'English Breakfast' type teabags were that they were weaker than normal teabags, which is exactly why I prefer them. I have the 'English Breakfast Strong' if I want a stronger tea and this one if I want a more mellow tea.

They will need to make the entrance bigger like they do in the states....

Don't you mean the exits.
It still works out cheaper to go Beefeater if you have kids as they eat for free, £8.99 each adult saves 50p-ish per head (Toby charge the same price for kids). Come with the same sort of stuff included (standard brekky stuff, continental, juices, tea, coffee etc).

Gravy - with tomato apparently! Not sure I would slather it over bacon and eggs, like I would a roast dinner!

Gravy on breakfast is so wrong.
Wish I knew about this sooner.
Btw, how and why did some members turn this nasty with billox about Halal and Muslims. I ain't interested and I don't care what car you drive.

another brand who kept the price the same but reduced the amount of tea, and they tell us it tastes the same, yeah right, only one who benefitted are the Unilever shareholders. :(

I thought it was only me that thought this! The tea also tastes sawdusty

If only the human body came with some internal organs that carried out a detox 24/7.
If only those organs were designed to handle the poor food and drink people consume these days. I quite like a detox tea now and again, even if you are really healthy these are good, which most people aren't.
No tea can make any difference.
Sigh.... I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to say there?! but assuming you are saying that tea cannot make a difference, then I would reply by saying that depends on what the tea has in it. There are plenty of proven benefits to natural ingredients, the night tea has senna in it, so if you want to quickly prove yourself wrong, head down the shops, buy a shed load of senna and drink that in your tea.
'Warning note' you may need some loo roll too and you won't only be talking **** this time.
Because personal experience is so much better than scientific facts isn't it? Oh hang on it's not any more than "detox" is anything other than rubbish for the gullible.

No tea can make any difference. 'Detox' is just a scam.

They are designed to handle just that, possibly not in the volume they have to. A glass of water would be just as easy on your system as having to pay for these.
