It was a huge queue last time of their give away. Not worth it for a few quid of a drink.

Yup it's just cheap marketing. Hadn't even heard of them before this offer.

Shame it doesn't include the Plymouth shop

All shops participating. Their locations page categorises Plymouth under South instead of South West

Went at 11:50 to Manchester Wilmslow Road already a line down the street. Pass.

arrived just after the usual opening time of 11am at lancaster & they had switched the opening time to 12 noon- there was one lady in a motorised wheel chair already waiting I assume because she also thought they would be open at 11am

so went & had a free nero coffee (from octoplus) instead & then returned at around 11.45am - there was already a queue of about 30 people or so (looked like mainly students & probably 2/3 were foreign students) & the lady in the wheel chair was still there at the head of the queue

we all got handed a straw for the drink so obviously they had a bag of a hundred straws

by 12 noon there were probably close the 100 limit in the queue at a guess - we were let in in groups of around 10 at a time & there was a limit of about six types of drink you could order rather than the full menu - you were also given a limited edition "pin/badge" as well as the free drink

I think it was good publicity as there were loads of people walking past wondering what the hell was going on due the long queue - quite a few were asking us why there was a queue

The bubble tea is pretty tasty so at £4 worth paying for as a treat once in a while (edited)
