Something to bear in mind is that basic fans like this will come on if you have them on a plug in timer, Hive socket etc (assuming you have the appropriate fan speed button already pressed). The more sophisticated fans with various touch buttons for timers, sweeping, sleep modes, etc may not and someone has to be there to touch a button to turn it on even if the timer has switched it on.

Cheers, ordered 2!

Got the £10 one yesterday to replace (same)one we’d had for about 10 years. Considering that it will be back to winter here in a couple of weeks, it’s enough to pay for a couple of weeks use per year.

duffinjonathan

They're not cheap, but if anyone is interested the Meacofan 1056 is the best thing I've invested for a while! It's seriously quiet and on the highest setting it feels like you're in a tornado, which will be perfect for this week :D It also does a brilliant job of cooling the entire room as the fan can move up and down as well as left and right. Only problem is it's become so popular that when it's in stock it doesn't last much more than a couple of days before selling out everywhere!

What! you thought that it was assembled in the 2 boxes you picked up

looop

its a nice desk but do be aware that it comes flat packed and will require assembly. We viewed the item in the showroom where it was fully built but upon opening the box found that we had to assemble it ourself! We complained but they said there was nothing they could do unless we wished to return to the store for a refund. IKEA need to make the fact this desk comes flatpack clear.

supermann

The problem is more when your seat has arms but even without it's not great.

surnjit

It’s not a strong table I once had a session on it and it snapped in the middle at the tickly point . But was a good laugh.

Why is this charging a £9.95 delivery fee to collect from store?? Anyone else get this?

As I recline in my actual leather Noble Chair with my feet up on the stool I can confirm that it was indeed worth the money after many years and many cheap chairs.

Sherbat

Took over an hour to fit, the back seat was a PITA. The arm bolt holes are misaligned slightly so it looks a bit dodgy. Won't be reclining much in this, don't trust the small bolts at the bottom to hold the weight up for long periods (they're also misalinged). For £40 it's alright, esp. with the footstool. Glad I didn't buy an extra though. edit: Noticed the footstool base has a tear damage. (fierce)

Hi, the arms are adjustable. You can have the monitors flat side by side (to work like one ultra wide monitor), side by side but angled inwards slightly, or even facing opposite directions (for two desks backing onto each other to have both screens on a single mount. What this means in answer to your question is that the choice is yours, you can either have them with a gap between the screens, or push the screens right up against one another.

RLRL

Hi, Does it have a slit between both monitors when they are mounted? Thanks.

andysubaru

Yes both short thumbscrews and longer normal screws too. Bought 4 of these for the office a few weeks back and was really impressed for the price

I am currently using office 365 personal license across 5 of my devices at home. The link to the news article https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-to-increase-device-limits-for-office-365-consumer-subscription-users/

ukmonkey

Good to know, where did you find this out ?

rdrp

Good deal! Microsoft has changed how many devices these licenses can be used since october last year. Now this 1 user personal license and can be used up to 5 devices all logged on at the same time. Home license will give you 6 users with each logged on in 5 devices (that is total of 30 devices). However with the personal 1 user license you will just get 1TB of storage.

Minstadave

I just wait for them to pop up on here. Last was PCWorld iirc, I bought 3 years at £50 a year (came with an additional McAfee license i sold to get it down to £40 a year). Before that I had 4 years at £40 but cant remember the retailers. You can stack several years so I just load up when they come up cheap.

UKgRs

I have Ikea Markus. Not that great. Has active tilt and tilt lock with lumbar support but still sucks for longer gaming sessions. 10 year warranty tho.

banjomike

The fake leather is always rubbish. It breaks up after a few years making a mess. Fabric chairs last longer but are hard to find these days especially now that Staples have gone. Where can you try an office chair these days. IKEA have expensive ones.

RedXI

It's because it has a high back.

How comfortable a chair is. Is all personal preference.

I already have Office (one off payment version), but looking for somewhere to store my 2tb+ of photos & videos. I see from this deal, I would get six OneDrive 1TB storages. Is it simple for me to access all 6 from my phone and choose which one to upload to? Do I have to create a Outlook email for each one? Or can I still use Gmail? What happens after the year assuming I don't renew? Does all my data get deleted? Any better solutions (I already upload to Google Photos but that reduces the quality, so looking at full quality) I remember when I tried it before the OneDrive andriod app wasn't the best at uploading, has this been improved?

d8smt

Get an extra 2 months for free by: 1. Waiing till a day before the renewal is due, then for some reason it gives you an extra month. Not sure why, but it did for me this morning. 2. Turning on automatic renewal. This then gives you a second month free. Then go into the settings and turn it off again. Bingo - 14 months for the price of 12.

MikeWard1701

Ah sneaky. You’d think they’d credit you the extra month, after you’ve been billed for the renewal lol. Good to know!
