About this deal

£4.99 per series from Amazon Prime (£35 for all 7). The lowest price that I can find to own the complete Star Trek The Next Generation TV in HD series on a streaming video service. Why pay £10.99 per month for Netflix when this is all that I watch?

Daft question: but is this is original 4:3 aspect ratio: or is it ‘stretched’ to 16:9 for modern tellys??

It's in the original 4:3. It is in HD, which of course it was never intended to be seen. This means that in some cases you can see problems (eg dodgy props) that would not have been noticeable in the original TV format on a CRT screen.

Definitely a high point in terms of remastering a TV show for HD with integrity. Not sure the word "own" can be applied for a streaming-only option though.

It's probably best to buy all 7 series if you're a big fan. If you tried to just pick one series to miss, it really makes the Picard... Although you can but Troi.

Had to wait for the punchline, but it was Worf the wait

I just pirate this stuff because I'm vegan.

    Good deal for squares though!

This is a good price and makes it really convenient, but I can't see if any of the special features that would be included on the Blu-ray set are included in this digital set. I've looked through the episode list on some of the seasons and it doesn't show any of the special features. Is anyone able to confirm?

    Thanks

No. I don't see anything other than the episodes themselves in the Amazon Prime app.

Great price for a load of entertainment
Always remember when they were first aired on the BBC, they wouldn't show the episode The High Ground, due to it being about terrorists.
