I thought these were rubbish until I went to a food show where they were demonstrating them and realised I was using them wrong. I use them on cheap knives to expensive Japanese Kyu knives. They come out like razor blades after. I don't care if the angle is wrong. What is important is that they make the knife ultra sharp. It's far easier than the wet stones I bought.

kamisanma

It’s because it doesn’t work! At least my knives didn’t get to sharpen at all.

T_Wang4s0

I don't know much about sharpening knives and the comments really confuse me. Why are people saying it's rubbish, when it's just a sharpener that can sharpen your knife?

pow26

As asked, you got a link there please?

Oh it does!!

Back in stock again. Good reviews for this knife

This was one of the first knives I got, and now with more experience I feel like this is cheap, it shows, but good value for some. You get what you pay for. Personally I'd spend 20 quid more and get something notably better if you intend to keep it

joinedup

Proper sharp, you are

oos again

Ah. Too late. Oh well.

Gone up a pound but been after something like this cheers. I also bought on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07L98BCP8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_R6S344T62W7SY0AEZ41M

crazygoog

Thanks from me too OP, look exactly like something I'll make good use of. Hot from me.

Alex_H

Just bought, thanks op. And measuring the board, looks a great size for me, heat :D

mrew42

All the boards except the veggie board are ok in the Dishwasher. The veggie one is much thinner than the rest and actually warps a bit in the dishwasher. Like the grippy feet aside from that.

Ken

I think best to assume they're not dishwasher safe, just in case. Confusing though, for sure. The sizes are in the OP already, but thanks anyway, good to make sure they're not missed :) Take it easy

It's both. I've never had any trouble opening beer with it and the two-stage design for corks is like nothing I've seen before. The pourer foils work well too. Can't say I am ever likely to use those rubber markers though.

miffyl

It's not a bottle opener, it's a corkscrew. The notches are for levering the cork out.

Gillian_Andrews

We bought this a while back and it's a load of rubbish to be honest. Having the Le Creuset name, I was expecting a lot better!

tony96

The bottle opener has ripped the glass neck of two different brands of beer. Much to the better halfs amusement. Don't use it anymore for beer. Think it's related to the grip angle and the way you need to operate it. However, the wine opener is great. Don't use for opening beer only wine.

danieldtaylor

Picked this up on a previous offer. Bottle opener is just ok, the rest is ‘meh’ - which I binned. Good discount, but don’t expect high quality.

Not as strong as what you have in the kitchen but still pretty sturdy. About 3/4 the size of usual utensils but that's ideal for camping. Nice clip holds them all together. Great buy really. Purchased after seeing the deal and not at all disappointed. Quick delivery too.

good for 50p each but look super flimsy

Chinese bamboo, very strong

JohnnyGat

Long grain, and bamboo is on the lowest end. You'd be better off with plastic. If you want a proper board, try end grain walnut or cherry boards. They're more expensive, but they last many decades. However, this isn't a bad price, so added heat.

Northerndave

Looking at the sizes, shouldn't it state, small chopping board and teeeeeeny-tiny board. They look slim as well.

Diogenes007

Anyone know the thickness of these?

mancuk87

Just what I needed 6 chopping boards haha good price though
