    1 L looked like it can only store 500gm things so I wonder what would it be with 70ml? All I can think of storing saffron, apart from that almost all spices will be in bigger quantities.

    Looks like the quality's not there these days, judging by the poor reviews concerning thin broken glass and poor sealing wires - these are manufactured in china, a far cry from the England made originals

    I have seen it in homebase today, there is no way it's 1L. It will hardly store 500 grams like lentils or spices. Looked nice will keep it and use it for something else.
