Nice offer, stayed in the Chessington Hotel a couple of weeks back. I thoroughly recommend Chessington, had a great time. Much prefer it to Thorpe/Alton Towers.

I live nr there. Not alot there to be honest, close by there is Delamere Forest (for Go Ape etc). You could also then catch the train into Chester or drive (use Park and Ride as Chester is expensive for parking).

In Northwich there is Anderton Boat lift.
kelsall? nothing there.
Kelsall? I never thought of it as a getaway destination. Just down the road but also, just kelsall.

Absolutely love Budapest, me and the wife go every year as we live near Stansted so its easy to get to, as has been said previously so much to do in the city, food is amazing, booze is cheap, pint of beer and large white wine was just over £2 you can Uber all over the city for cheap and even get one from the airport. We stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal and I manage to get it for ~£100 a night and its an amazing hotel with a lot of history.
PS: If you go make sure to check out the ruin Bars dotted around the city!
Any good to take a 7 year old to in tow?
depends what sort of fun you wanna get out of your holiday, lol. Of course is ok with a child of that age provided he is a good walker, if he start to complain then you ruin your holiday

I've been looking into this as London is way too expensive for invisible braces. How did your procedure go?
I went for crowns, this is the people in London, I believe you can get it from them but in here, have a go: https://www.vitaleurope.co.uk/?gclid=CMug6Z61-s0CFUg8GwodCXYCdA

I do not think they do braces in Budapest unless you willing to travel often (then would be expensive), but yes in London. I know they are cheaper than these sharks in London. Get in touch with them: https://www.vitaleurope.co.uk/?gclid=CMKGlfvB880CFckaGwodWy4IOg

Why are they all in **** engerlund?
I wouldn't recommend the Cambridge Belfry. The spa is just treatment rooms. You get access to a pool & small gym but it was very busy when I last went & not particularly well maintained.
Does anyone have a link to a list of treatments & prices? Thanks

It says click on school holidays and coming up as £100 a night.

Good if you haven't got kids or not worried about fines although normally you can get cheap deals anyway if its not school term.

Is this offer still on? Can't see it now?
We've been going for past 3/4 years, using two free tickets from sun then buy one get one free using vouchers from cereal packets and usually stay at days inn usually around £55 in August seems like a good deal it's on motorway and about 30-45 minute from Alton towers no traffic!

Do these kind of offers pop up in peak times? We have last week of July first week of August booked off as my wife has to book months in advance, but we haven't booked anything. Plan is to book something all inclusive last minute... Hopefully!!

You won't get particularly cheap deals that time of year.... August is school holidays so premium prices

Hopefully you'll get something but it'd unlikely anything like these cheap May deals... June and early July will still be pretty good

In the terms and conditions it says 'your stay cannot commence on a Sunday'. Does that mean I cant do a room for Sunday 5th and Monday 6th June? when trying to apply the code it allows you to do this :-S
Just booked mine and saved £59, thanks for the heads up. :D

Don't forget - Offer runs out tomorrow, you have to book by the 19th May
So do you have to book 2 nights to get the discount, or can you just book one night and use code to get it free??
If you wanted a Fri, Sat, Sun stay (3 nights) would you have to book the Friday separate and what would the check in situation be? :D

No woodburner's in the tents?! You better hope it's a warm evening...(I say that having returned a couple of weeks back from 'glamping' at Port Lympne. We had a log burner - but even so, it was laughably cold. We looked forward to getting in the car each day just to get warm.....or in the shower, as if we spent long enough in there, it would become a sauna :) !)
Camping is generally warmer in the summer.

Indeed it is - but that still doesn't negate the need for heating.

I went down with my partner to West Kellow Yurts in the SW in late August a couple of years back. It was around 25 Celsius during the day - yet v.chilly at night. The roaring log burner was used every night.....and a most welcome thing in the early morning too.

Yes sorry your right :) booked and looking forward to it

Maybe you can en-light me.... what is it that I missing in this deal? is it not exactly the same price on the Mercure website?

I wasnt comparing the price to another website, i booked it on the fact that £30 each for a really nice looking hotel with a sauna, pool, gym and a breakfast thrown in is a FAR better deal than £30 on the motor way travel lodge with a tea stained foldable sofa bed and hairy curtains "/

Not a deal that suits me but can say we have stayed here 6 times and its a great hotel.

Price looks fab for those that can avail.
So I got 2 weeks in Spain in June [in the season] - paid 1200. If I'd get same standard on this hols [extra luggage, hal board etc] I'd pay 480 for 5 days. Which gives me around 1400 off season. It isn't good deal.
Try to upgrade to half board or all inclusive when you get there, not a lot will be open in.Malgrat del mar or Santa Susanna
Calella isn't far away, good shopping street and big beach.
Lloret de mar is the biggest resort in Costa Brava/Costa Maresme and also worth a visit as is Barcelona.

what does double / twin mean can you chose a double when you get there?

Lately most hotel rooms I've been to have 2 single beds that can be together as a double or separated as twin room

For when you inevitably fall out:
"I swear I didn't even notice that woman in the string bikini, I was straining to try and read the bar menu from across the pool..."

oh man, just missed out on this deal. Are there any other codes knocking about?
Lovely, thanks for the post OP :)
you can exchange the vouchers for other deals on there websites. and you can get a full refund within 60 days from the voucher purchase date :)
You cant book until after you've paid and then there are all sorts of restrictions and low grade hotels to boot. What sort of deal is that.
Voted hot, and then I saw all of the comments :/

As for the deal itself, I would be very careful about paying between £89 and £139 (depending on the hotel) for just a "voucher". I tried making a test booking on the Travelzoo site and at no point does it check availability for you; you have to pay for the accommodation and then contact the hotel directly to see if your dates are available.
So if they aren't, you've just wasted your money and I wouldn't be too optimistic about getting a refund. For that reason, while the hotels get good reviews, I have to vote the deal cold. I'd sooner bypass Travelzoo and contact the hotel directly.
why don't you contact hotel first and book the date you would like to stay or tell them to reserve it. them buy via travel zoo

All the dates I chose were available on the hotels website, but when I phoned up to enquire about the same dates via Tavel Zoo I was told the hotel was completely booked on those dates...

I've had a poor experience using TravelZoo for a Michelin-star restaurant meal previously, since after I presented my voucher, I found that extras got added on at the end of the meal (without first being informed), e.g. service charge based on the original full a la carte price of individual items got added (not the voucher price), bread rolls and butter (when previous dining there they had given it free).

I have this booked for the coming weekend- and now sister andnieces from coventry want to join for an attraction.
Has qnyone got unused ticket willing to spare/sell to me? Just need 1
Does anyone know if I book a hotel stay for later on in the year, is it possible to use an attraction ticket before my stay? I know it says in the t&c's that they are valid from the date of the stay but do the tickets still work beforehand?
Enjoyed our break staying at the Hilton and going to Space Centre, Twinlakes and Conkers, despite the dodgy weather (seems like it was the only place in the country which didn't have the sun!!). Seemed like a few families staying in the Hilton were on that deal, room was large and breakfast had a lot of choice. Didn't dine in the hotel at night but there was a deal on in the week family of four for £40 in the restaurant so that might be of interest to some?
brill thanks for the advice
Booked for the Hilton for next week as Marriott was full. Staying for 2 nights but coming over from north west so a good 2hrs away. Thinking of Space Centre, Conkers and Twinlakes Park for our 2 boys. Just after a bit of advice, which of those are maybe not a full day...Space Centre? Hopefully leave early and pop there in the morning. Great deal though thanks
I woiuld say the space centre....if the weather is good Twinlakes and Conkers can be a whole day. You could do Space centre in 3-4 hours (make sure you go to the planetarium). Hope that helps....and have a fab time x

The barmen wear kevlar vests in some of the pubs in Riga. At least they did when I went around 7 years ago..
It's fairly warm right now like we are, but should be back to -20 by end of January
Pikiechu
I was really tempted by this but flight times of 18:45 and £50 transfer fee put me off :(
No need to pay high transfer fees. Public transport bus will take you to the city centre for about 2 Eur. The stop is just outside the airport and there are buses every 15 minutes or so.

actually after reading reviews on visits to Riga maybe not such a nice place to visit.
It's actually quite a nice city, I went with the Mrs earlier in the year and would definitely go back.
expensive we only paid £80 for 3 nights for hotel and flight may be better going when flight prices are lower.

Where do you park and how much?
Stayed here this year on an N Crowd deal. Excellent value, hotel a little dated, food basic but very filling, lovely hosts. £60 for 2 nights, breakfast and dinner for two people? I would call that a UK Hot Deal!
Nice thanks
Good price, but there was very little to do in Ilfracombe. Also got threatened by a local crackhead when leaving the nuclear power plant car park! Woolacombe 10 minutes down the road is beautiful if you do want to escape for a bit.
Had high hopes but the reviews say otherwise
would like to be proven wrong.

I would rather walk than travel on a nasty express coach.
Travel on these at least once a week. Nothing nasty about them and I save a fortune compared to travelling by train. Don't be a snob.
I once spent 7hrs on one traveling from London to Manchester never again. I either get the train or drive!!

that's nothing i spent 13 hrs birmingham to ipswich!!! but did have a 3 hr break between coaches! it did cost a fiver
So you pay Groupon £2 (or £1.70) and receive a code that gives you 40% off standard fare prices - how does 40% discount = free?? :-/
