We have done this a couple of times. Its well worth the money.Stayed at Hinckley Island and Leicester Hulton. Just check the pool opening times and what time children are allowed in till before you book to see which suits you best if you are going to be using the hotels pool.
Also, At the Hilton Leicester I went with my children aged 10,13 and 14 and you are only allowed 2 under 16's in the pool per adult...so we had to tell a little lie and say my son was 16 (it's a good job he's tall).
Twin lakes and Twycross zoo are fab...we weren't impressed with the space centre or Stoneleigh family farm..although I do think younger children would enjoy the farm.
We stayed at Hinckley Jury's inn which was great. The pool is being out of action until April though so it was a shame we weren't able to use that. Our boys are 5 and 8, and we did Conkers, the zoo and the space centre. Absolute bargain when you add up the entrance for all the attractions and a lovely hotel, we would do it again. It would be great if they did similar offers elsewhere.
Did this last year and is well worth the money even just for the attractions! Stayed at Sketchley Grange Hotel which was nice.

Do you have to choose 3 attractions at the time of booking?

No
We did this a couple of years ago, stayed at the Marriot. Went to twin lakes, Twycross and the space centre, big hit with the kids

The cheapest is 49 euros, per person, per night, in a tent.

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong, but even in the pictures linked by OP, it is ~289 euros per person for 3 nights. Click continue and it all ends up being 1k+ for 4.

Looks excellent, but don't go expecting to get a sun lounger ...
Do you know where this saying came from (I think Only Fools and Horses?) as I have never seen Germans nicking all the Sun Loungers ever, just curious if it is based loosely on any fact, or just the 80's UK Humour of taking the mickey out of the Germans?
I think its based on observation in mediterranean resorts, basically Germans are more likely to get out of bed earlier than the British. :)
I like to think I'm not "-ist" in any way.
But the classic holiday in the late 80s/90s was you'd go down for breakfast, the poolside would be totally empty, and every single sun lounger would have a towel on it.
When 'we' (ie, normal people) started to go on holiday abroad it was a complete eye-opener. They'd leave their towel on, go out for the day and then come back at 4pm to sit on the lounger....and then repeat the next day.
I think 'normal' Germans were going on holiday before 'normal' Brits and were just more wised up.
So while it might sound a bit Alf Garnet, it was born out of reality.
Hotels in the 90s started to implement policies where towels left for hours would have them removed.
Then when I started to go on holiday with my mates around the same time we'd just throw them in the pool.
I've not been on a package holiday since the 90s...no idea what it's like now.
So, you are a normal Brit and were throwing towels in the pool, so what were the un-normal Brits doing?
I was 18 and fuelled with lager and righteous indignation.
Towels left for hours offended me, so I justified the throwing in the pool by saying it was for 'poor kiddies and old ladies' so they could have a sun lounger.
tanjawest
cant get it for that price? x
Me neither?
So refreshing to read peoples' views on it here! Been wanting to go there for a while now, but reading nearly exclusively negative reviews from German visitors has made me shy away more than once. Maybe I'll finally give it a try!

The comfort caravan is where you go to cry when you see the state of your £10 accommodation :D
Mine was a disaster in the caravan I booked in Devon last year. They put us in the smallest oldest caravan that shouldn't even been in use. Was awful, just be careful when booking as they throw you the accommodation dregs
thanks bitm2007, Booked for Woolacombe in the (scottish) summer hols for a cheaper than camping week away! got to be worth a go :)

booked a holiday using the codes, being told that the entertainment passes (which on my email from Breakfree state OPTIONAL) are infact NOT optional, but I can decline them (?) - and that I will NOT be able to access any entertainment (obviously) but no access to Bar/ Restaurant/ On site Shop/ Outdoor play area either, if these are not purchased. Seems extreme!! I have declined the passes for one of my bookings as it is a short stay, but if someone can clarify if your passes are needed for the play area, shop etc - for any site, I would be very grateful.
Not sure if it works like this at all parks, but certainly for Haven and Park resorts, it works like this....
The entertainment passes will automatically be added to your booking, but then when you get the invoice from the park operator you can simply drop them a line and ask for them to be removed.
On arrival at the park, they will probably try to flog you some passes but again you can decline.
Without passes you can certainly get access to most facilities - Pub, Shop, Play area etc - Obviously you can't access the pools or show-bar, but everything else should be fine.
What you will probably find is that in the evenings they will have somebody checking passes at the entrance to the show-bar. Sometimes due to the layout of the entertainment complex, the person checking passes might be at the entrance to the complex (where the arcade machines are etc). Though from my experience if you explain that you don't have passes and simply want to get to the arcade machines / pub etc, they'll just let you in.
A couple of times with Haven I've had the passes removed, but they have still included them anyway for free!
To be honest if you're worried it's not really an issue as you can have them removed from the booking, but then when you get to the park if you find something you can't access, you can always pop to reception and they will sell you some entertainment passes.

This pretty much sum's up my experiences of cancelling the entertainment passes on over 40 of these holiday's.

I've never been denied access to the shop or the children's play area, but there are some parks where the only bar and restaurant are in the same open plan room as the stage, then it's off limit's unless you pay for the passes. Most park's however are more than happy for you to spend your money at the bar and in the restaurants (it's where they make their money out of these deals), so including entertainment passes even if you haven't paid for them is in their interest.

My favourite holiday destination but give Castillo beach bungalows a miss unless you're on a very tight budget and defo don't waste your time and money on the transfer shuttle option because a taxi will have you in the resort within 10 minutes and about 13 Euros.

Yes, I saw this on TA. Have requested room at back and fingers crossed for no Thursday night parties! Cheers :)

It's a good deal if you want the freebies.
But we book secret escapes deals for London quite a lot and if you keep your eye out the always have the 5 star Grange St. Paul's or 5 star Grange tower bridge for £130 a night for 2 adults and 2 full breakfasts . So 2 night weekend is normally £260 with breakfast and they are pure luxury 5 star . And virgin direct train from the northwest is just 2 hours for as little as £38 pp , cheaper than fuel money !!!!!

I would really appreciate the info on where I should keep an eye out for such great 5 star deal?

As I said in comments secret escapes !!!!!!
Red Devil PJB
Good deal but be aware, this hotel is nowhere near Ealing really. It is just off Hanger Lane which is where two main roads, A40 & A406 meet. It is quite busy (trafficwise) & industrial. There are a few places nearby (Royale Leisure Park is 10 minute walk and has Chiqitos, Nandos, bowling, cinema, Burger King and good old KFC!) but it is not the nicest area! Although given most will spend the mainstay in London it is close to tube and considering what is including I would say this is hot for those from outside of the capital

At first I assumed it was the doubletree on ealing common and that you had the location wrong - but yeah, everything that you said. Safe now, but my brother got mugged at knifepoint in that leisure park in the 90s, noisy and not pretty these days, but if all you need is a (presumably nice) room that's next to the tube, goferrit.

Stunning place, stayed there about 5 years or so ago. I was told it was a little older than Dubrovnik itself and it was easily as pricey if not more so.
Had aome amazing yachts in the little harbour, some with string quartets playing for the guests onboard!

I stayed in Cavtat for ten days last year, it's a stunning place to visit, you can easily catch a water taxi to Dubrovnik for a few pounds and there is a regular bus service too. We love Croatia, it's a beautiful country to visit and amazingly cheap to eat out etc.
I go to Croatia every year and I'm still finding hard to find "amazingly cheap" place to eat. Never mind Dubrovnik which is together with Split, the most expensive place in Croatia. Beautiful yes, cheap no.
What about weather on April? How warm is in the Dubrovnik? Thanks

I live nr there. Not alot there to be honest, close by there is Delamere Forest (for Go Ape etc). You could also then catch the train into Chester or drive (use Park and Ride as Chester is expensive for parking).

In Northwich there is Anderton Boat lift.
kelsall? nothing there.
Kelsall? I never thought of it as a getaway destination. Just down the road but also, just kelsall.

Absolutely love Budapest, me and the wife go every year as we live near Stansted so its easy to get to, as has been said previously so much to do in the city, food is amazing, booze is cheap, pint of beer and large white wine was just over £2 you can Uber all over the city for cheap and even get one from the airport. We stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal and I manage to get it for ~£100 a night and its an amazing hotel with a lot of history.
PS: If you go make sure to check out the ruin Bars dotted around the city!
Any good to take a 7 year old to in tow?
depends what sort of fun you wanna get out of your holiday, lol. Of course is ok with a child of that age provided he is a good walker, if he start to complain then you ruin your holiday

We stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal and I manage to get it for ~£100 a night and its an amazing hotel with a lot of history.
PS: If you go make sure to check out the ruin Bars dotted around the city!

Any good to take a 7 year old to in tow?

went there for a dental holiday, did not know it was an incredible place. London should learn from Budapest how to be cleaner
I've been looking into this as London is way too expensive for invisible braces. How did your procedure go?
I do not think they do braces in Budapest unless you willing to travel often (then would be expensive), but yes in London. I know they are cheaper than these sharks in London. Get in touch with them: https://www.vitaleurope.co.uk/?gclid=CMKGlfvB880CFckaGwodWy4IOg

You and your lucky companion can enjoy a relaxing spa day and make use of all that the hotel spa has to offer, including the swimming pool, whirlpool, gym, sauna, steam room and heated loungers (dependent upon your chosen spa).
After you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll be able to indulge in refreshments and a pastry each, and you’ll get 20% off all pre-booked treatments, food and beverages.

Why are they all in **** engerlund?
I wouldn't recommend the Cambridge Belfry. The spa is just treatment rooms. You get access to a pool & small gym but it was very busy when I last went & not particularly well maintained.
Does anyone have a link to a list of treatments & prices? Thanks

anyone know if this is still valid?? trying to put the code in online but can't find anywhere to put it, also where do I find the live chat option???
Just got back from our stay at Alton Towers splash landings hotel, it was worth it for the water park in the hotel alone! I think we spent more time in the water than the actual park!!!

Thanks again for posting this deal, hopefully same again next year!
excellent, thank you so much.

this offer is also called newspaper offer so if you want decent holiday it would be £150.... not bad as if you try to book directly it will be twice
It says click on school holidays and coming up as £100 a night.

Good if you haven't got kids or not worried about fines although normally you can get cheap deals anyway if its not school term.

Is this offer still on? Can't see it now?
We've been going for past 3/4 years, using two free tickets from sun then buy one get one free using vouchers from cereal packets and usually stay at days inn usually around £55 in August seems like a good deal it's on motorway and about 30-45 minute from Alton towers no traffic!
shame their safety record is looking poor these days
Just remember to sit at the back on the rides.

In all seriousness are people avoiding sitting at the front now?

Can I buy this, but only go with my girlfriend?
Yes, if it is only the two of you, you'd
change the package. It lists as £99 when I just checked for the same hotel etc.

Any similar deals for just two adults?
Exact same offering but for £99, same dates etc.
Thanks, unfortunately that date is too far, by then I would have broke up with the current gf! Need a Jun date. Don't know if prices change often but so far no deal so will keep checking!

That's what I call forward planning...looks like she's got a keeper oO

Do these kind of offers pop up in peak times? We have last week of July first week of August booked off as my wife has to book months in advance, but we haven't booked anything. Plan is to book something all inclusive last minute... Hopefully!!

You won't get particularly cheap deals that time of year.... August is school holidays so premium prices

Hopefully you'll get something but it'd unlikely anything like these cheap May deals... June and early July will still be pretty good

Another! Yeah some people are and some aren't
Its the fear factor
But think i'd be more worried going to the Euros this year personally...
By the way, this year russians are banned from going to Turkey and Egypt (though Egypt may be allowed).

I booked Sunday (free night £59) and Monday night, it will reject the code if it's outside the terms and will show in red that it's been rejected. Try it you don't pay at that stage.

Edited By: Graham35 on May 18, 2016 20:51
In the terms and conditions it says 'your stay cannot commence on a Sunday'. Does that mean I cant do a room for Sunday 5th and Monday 6th June? when trying to apply the code it allows you to do this :-S
Just booked mine and saved £59, thanks for the heads up. :D

Don't forget - Offer runs out tomorrow, you have to book by the 19th May
So do you have to book 2 nights to get the discount, or can you just book one night and use code to get it free??
If you wanted a Fri, Sat, Sun stay (3 nights) would you have to book the Friday separate and what would the check in situation be? :D

No woodburner's in the tents?! You better hope it's a warm evening...(I say that having returned a couple of weeks back from 'glamping' at Port Lympne. We had a log burner - but even so, it was laughably cold. We looked forward to getting in the car each day just to get warm.....or in the shower, as if we spent long enough in there, it would become a sauna :) !)
Camping is generally warmer in the summer.

Indeed it is - but that still doesn't negate the need for heating.

I went down with my partner to West Kellow Yurts in the SW in late August a couple of years back. It was around 25 Celsius during the day - yet v.chilly at night. The roaring log burner was used every night.....and a most welcome thing in the early morning too.

unless you are going for the football (none in June) Milano is pretty boring. plus that's a rubbish location. it's meant for people coming to trade shows.

Also, the example above has two different airports so you arrive into Linate but then have to find your way to Malpensa where your hotel is.

There's a few dates with different flights, if members don't fancy getting a bus you can get 15% off Transfers using code SUN15 at Hoppa Here

Will see if i can find any bigger discount codes for them

The complimentary service runs between the hotel and the airport. You then need another bus from the airport into Milan.

For info, Malpensa bus/coach service to/from Milan central station takes about 45 mins (frequent service).

The deal doesn't require a code, do you mean the code for 15% off local deals that auto appears in the op? If so it wouldn't work as this is not classed as a local deal
Yes sorry your right :) booked and looking forward to it

Maybe you can en-light me.... what is it that I missing in this deal? is it not exactly the same price on the Mercure website?

I wasnt comparing the price to another website, i booked it on the fact that £30 each for a really nice looking hotel with a sauna, pool, gym and a breakfast thrown in is a FAR better deal than £30 on the motor way travel lodge with a tea stained foldable sofa bed and hairy curtains "/

Code doesn't apply to offer

Not a deal that suits me but can say we have stayed here 6 times and its a great hotel.

Price looks fab for those that can avail.
So I got 2 weeks in Spain in June [in the season] - paid 1200. If I'd get same standard on this hols [extra luggage, hal board etc] I'd pay 480 for 5 days. Which gives me around 1400 off season. It isn't good deal.
Try to upgrade to half board or all inclusive when you get there, not a lot will be open in.Malgrat del mar or Santa Susanna
Calella isn't far away, good shopping street and big beach.
Lloret de mar is the biggest resort in Costa Brava/Costa Maresme and also worth a visit as is Barcelona.
