    I've had Elixir and for me, it gets too overpowering very easily, even when wearing less. Over time it gets too much like you can't smell anything else. For that reason, I wouldn't buy Elixir again.
    I bought Tom Ford Ombre Leather around the same time (different I know) that is amazing. Very quickly became my favourite scent.

    This arrived today. It's fantastic value, even as a stand alone fragrance. I paid £117 for my 100ml of Elixir (and that was a great deal) and would I say that it's worth six times what I paid for this? Absolutely not.

    I'd say its DNA is 90% Elixir. It doesn't have the projection and there's a tiny, almost imperceptible artificial note on the dry down, but if you're a fan of Elixir, save your money, and buy this. It's an steal.

    I'll use it as a daily and keep my Elixir for special occasions.
