Would someone who likes high tops like these?
Thinking of gifting them to someone and need some advice!

I usually go with high tops and would defo be happy with getting a pair of these. I'm gonna go buy myself a pair of black ones now, or do I want white, no black, white? I don't need both colours. I just got both colours.

I remember having these in white, black and neon green back around 1990

Me too, showing my age. But they were so cool, not many had trainers like these at school. Envy

I have four pairs in different colour ways. So comfy and retro, plus makes up for my mum never buying them for me!

I have the green grey chlorophyll. Also had a blue pair too 5 years earlier. I found them very thin on the sole, not enough cushion on ballof your feet. But they look too nice to care (edited)

I had a pair of those twenty years ago, they were called shima shima 2 (the shima shima 1s were white and navy). They did the dunk and the air max 1 in the same colourway, which go for big money these days.

They go up to size 12 so are unisex or men's. Women's specific styles only go up to a 9.5

What's the cushioning like on these? Wanted to buy a pair for basketball
    PlayerMano1's avatar
    PlayerMano1
Personally, I find it thin. Personal opinion. I did play basketball in these 10 year's ago and we're fine. But I have recent pair and to me the ball of the foot is just too thin now. John McEnroe played tennis in these
