There's the local BP garage down the road for late night munchies .Used to hit that after a hard night at the forum or maddsions nightclub (y) (y) You'll know what I mean. (lol) (lol)

MonkeysUncle

Just be aware as others have said you can't walk anywhere much from here and definitely won't have Lake views etc. Have a look on Google maps first. This is view over the road.

muckspreader1

The good thing is he's still here .A true legend of the town.We all know what he used to do with the money he got when selling those papers.A quick trip to Blackpool to see the ladies and back again on the train.Ive had the pleasure of sitting with him on the crazy last train back from Carlisle for him to show me his lovely collection of reading books without the words but plenty of pictures of lovely ladies.Of course I declined to view them due too my sensitive nature. MonkeysUncle

It's true a highlight of Workington, spotting malcolm (y) not seen him flogging newspapers for ages now though.

Sadly a terrible price. I did Mauritius last year for around 3500, for 14 days for a family of 5. I didn't do the hotel though. I got a serviced place on the marina in Rivière Noire which included a car and cell.

Cherry13

That's awful!

madmick666

Most of it yes, I don't blame the pilots one bit though (y)

Cherry13

Oh no ! Did you get your money back?

JagerMR

If it's raining where you are, it is often sunny on other parts of the island so go and see some sights, I stayed in flic en flac at the end of May/beginning of June and a couple of days it was cloudy/rainy, went to Port Louis one day and Chamarel on another (neither even being that far away), both of those were glorious weather. Equally the rain tends not to last too long, like most tropical islands, just go to the bar and enjoy a Phoenix beer while it passes :)

Remember you will also need to buy private health insurance because you won't be covered by EHIC anymore. Sorry if you're old or have a pre-existing condition. And watch out because you probably won't be protected from mobile phone roaming charges anymore. Also allow more time to travel because you won't be able to use fast-track border queues anymore.

when it says 3-5/01/2020, what does that actually mean? flying out on the 3rd coming back 5th or flights leaving UK between 3rd and 5th?

Be really careful with Crystal Travel. We bought the last deal on here to Budapest and when we called them to redeem it, they couldn’t actually honour it. We weren’t offered a refund and had to choose from Venice or Cologne, on different dates instead!

You really need to listen to your own advice. This was taken from the Qatar website. Educate yourself you idiot.

thehoneymunster

If you need to come on to the internet and lie, good for you. I can't honestly be bothered anymore, you've contradicted yourself several times. And Q Suite is deffiently a First Class product. Well done.

Michaelgell91

thehoneymunster: Honestly. What is your issue? The A320 only has recliner seats on that service. The pictures you posted of Qatar Business Class, the bottom one is a Q Suite, which costs a lot more than Business Class, as is actually one of their First Class products. I was trying to explain there was a difference between a lie flat and a fully flat bed in Business Class, which there very much is. Fully flat means that it's adjacent with the aircraft floor, i.e. 180 degree angle. Lie flat means it's the seat converts so it is flat, but doesn't mean that it will be adjacent with the aircraft floor, so not an 180 degree angle. You originally boasted that you can get a Business Class flight with Qatar for £999, and I said, not ex UK like the original post, which was my first point. I am well aware that Qatar have won Skytrax Best Airline 5 years, the first airline ever to do so, but thanks. Also, you must have a time machine, as you apparently flew from DXB to PER yesterday at 8AM? When Emirates only have the one daily service from DXB to PER at 02:45. Nice trolling bro. The Q suite is a business class product, Please do some research before you try to troll. Also the izmir-doha-singapore return flight also costs 999 and is in a Qsuite business seat. I understand your point regarding lie flat and fully flat, but according to the Qatar official website the A320 that serves the Izmir - Doha route has 180 degree fully flat bed and so does the second leg onwards to Asia. I honestly don't know what your problem is, you clearly know a small amout about aviation yet can't go on the qatar website and check what you are arguing about before you post. Also I was on EK432 to brisbane via singapore, got a virgin flight to perth. Thanks for checking though. P.s heres my flight from edinburgh to dubai on the 777

The Silver Line bus is free from the airport to South Station, but $2.75 return. Still cheap as chips. An Uber from Boston Common / Tufts / China Town to the airport comes in at around $18, so possibly a better option if more than 2 of you with luggage. The tourist trap of Mike's Pastries is probably worth a trip. Good that they've got a Magnolia Bakery in Faneuil Hall now so you can get your $7-$8 NY cheesecake there ;) Cheap place to eat simple food as well.

xenole

Boston can be done in a couple of days unless you hire a car and drive 1-2hrs down to the Cape, see Salem etc. Suppose you could spend a hour feeding nuts to the squirrels on the Common if you enjoy rodents running up your back etc :) Hotels generally come in at the £200-£300 night price range most of the year from what I've seen (cheaper at Xmas). Nice at Xmas. Rained first thing on Xmas Day last time I was there, and an hour later, loads of snow, so my first white Xmas. China Town opens around lunchtime and public transport isn't too bad on Xmas Day. There are seasonal things like skating on the Frog Pond - although when cold, there's probably more ice on the footpaths around the pond in Boston Common than on the pond itself ;) Seriously, the ice is lethal without wearing skates on some of the footpaths leading up to it! Nice if you're a Fallout 4 fan and want to tour various locations from the game.....some exist; some in part; some don't. Easy enough to pop to NYC if you want to visit there as well.

gp1602

Thanks. A great price for a school holiday break to America

adiboy79

Your opinion. A city break to me, is visiting a city...for a break. Not constrained to flight times...
