About this deal

Seems to be the cheapest option available for a while now, even better than the current DFDS sale at 50% off. Just £99 return for 2 people, including transfers into Amsterdam and breakfast on the outward journey!

BOOK AN AMSTERDAM MINI CRUISE WITH DFDS
Our popular Amsterdam mini cruise includes return crossings to the stunning Dutch capital from Newcastle, plus spend the day in Amsterdam.

COLD You get about 4 hours in Amsterdam!
    No longer stay available. (edited)

I’d personally recommend going for a longer trip if they still do the 3-night option as you barely get 6-7 hours in Amsterdam itself.

We went last year and spent two nights in Amsterdam. I was pleasantly surprised with the ferry crossing.

I'm considering booking another one to test my Dad's 'sea legs' as he fancies going on a cruise.

Is this route comfortable or does it feel choppy with this type of vessel/route?

You have to an feel it but not too bad I get sea sick badly and don't throw up on ferries. I've been in nov/Dec so it was choppy and I was fine.

Great if you live up north. But living in south west England it'd cost me more to get to Newcastle on the train than to take the coach to London and the Eurostar to Amsterdam (and back!).

Is this good for a family of four with kids

Absolutely, can dolphin watch on the way out, there’s a little cinema screen with kids films on, bingo on the bar later on, and then they can go to sleep, wake up in another country, 45 minute bus into Amsterdam, avoid the windows with red lights on and have a mini holiday, proper little adventure for them.

Yeah, afraid some dates are OOS in the cheap cabins, 11th may is much cheaper.

Also it's cheaper if you click the kings day deal but you have to book before May 5th.

Tried booking this for 1 adult & it comes to £87.10 - sucks to be single.

The ad itinerary says Day 1, 2 ,3, so how come we can only book for 1 night on the site? Can someone pls explain. (edited)
