Pairing a new controller to your PS5 is a relatively easy process after Sony's decades of experience building gaming consoles. That being said, to cut down on time and worry, here are a few steps to make sure you get your controller connected correctly the first time.
First, the simplest way would be to directly connect the controller via the USB-C cable and turning on the controller by pressing the PS logo on the centre of the DualSense controller.
If you don't have a cable handy, you can just as easily connect your device wirelessly, head to the settings menu on your PS5, select 'General.'
