But it’s not. Unsealed doesn’t automatically make it second hand. GAME doesn’t have that reputation. It’s not exactly difficult to figure out they need boxes on the shop floor so would naturally gut one or two. I never understand why people just don’t automatically think this.

Should add second hand to title ;)

When I worked at GAME, we would "gut" two new, sealed games and place those boxes (the ones with an actual bar code) onto the shop floor among the generic boxes. We would also place a few sealed copies (as well as the discs of the games we just gutted) in a dedicated "new games" drawer separate from pre owned. This was a technique for us to pad out shelves (and save boxes) and keep track of stock. This is also why the game in the picture is unsealed despite it being new.

Fair comment. I’ve opened up the box - disc is pristine and the registration code for the Square Enix website worked fine. The preowned discs were also shelved separately from the new ones. You did make me wonder, but I’m pretty sure this is new!

I used to work at GAME, and they keep both new and preowned in separate drawers. I've saved you that tour now (popcorn)

Yeah, that tends to happen when there's a feeding frenzy, you can't honestly be surprised? If you are, you haven't been on HUKD long enough ;)

Seeing the Visceral logo... oof, like a punch to the gut. *feels sad man* (Visceral Games studio was shut down by EA not long ago and cancelled their single player Star Wars game because EA say that "people don't want linear experiences anymore" or some bull**** like that.) RIP Visceral, you will be missed.

Price went up halfway through checkout, load of rubbish

Thanks, was just about to buy it but will wait till it's on ea Access.

Mario Shart is better.

Not a great Mario game. You are stock in a bloomin Kart ALL THE TIME!

I prefer the controls on the Wii U version. I think they feel different on the Switch version even when you turn off assist.

Prefer this version to the "deluxe" on the switch! Yeah battle mode is better on switch but the main game online is worse, mirror mode comes up alot more often, don't like the 2 items set up (this would be better if they made it like double dash and could swap them round) and the boo item is F***ing annoying!

In some ways I prefer the Wii-U version to the Switch Deluxe upgrade - on the Switch, everything was unlocked from the start, and with no rewards it made for quite a boring single player experience. Multiplayer though... I did miss the proper Battle maps, which were missing from the Wii-U version...

The American Dream (PSVR/PS4) £14.99 Delivered @ GAME (Amazon Matched)

Old school gamer, and I've never seen the point in digital-only. That seems a waste to me. But then I have a load of CDs in the loft and only recently gave in to digital music too. I know it's the way it's going, but unless its a LOT cheaper on digital, I'll take physical every time.

I do collect physical copies. Besides, the digital games would be taken off servers one day. Also, if I am paying for something to buy, I want to own it not being given the right to have a long term access to it. Edit: Let me add that (not applicable for me but) a lot of people tend to sell/trade games after they finish them. You cannot do that with digital. You just waste your money if ever you end up not liking the game you bought.

Out of curiosity why would you want to pay more for the same game in "physical copy"? It's just more money, more space taken up by a case, more plastic we don't need just generally more effort. Genuinely asking.

66% on metacritic. Looks a bit gash.

Why would you call it unusual? Care to explain? The game is actually a critical point of view to the impact of gun in American’s daily life. It’s been made by an Australian indie company and I honestly like the concept. I earlier ordered it from Boomerang.

Gotcha. Sorted. :)

I will pick this up at one point. Coming down a lot now. Black Ops 4 = LOL = NOT BUYING. They need to either stop or release less frequently the COD games... used to be a big fan of COD and it was always an insta buy but not partaken in the past few. I got Infinite Warfare for £0.00 and still not played it!

It sends me to the mobile site which I don’t want.

Sorry, even though it was slightly irrelevant in the reply, that comment was based off the whole "Pre-Owned costing more than New"(When I mentioned their pricing techniques) But yeah I can't disagree with most of the rest, no matter the retailer its possible but from experience I've had pretty bad luck with game and quite a few people on HotUKDeals seem to have had similar issues. I'm just hoping my two "New" orders actually arrive new this time...

except as i pointed out these pricing techniques are employed by every other retailer that does such bundles. So it's a bad argument. frankly it's a stupid spiteful one. rather than an issue with game. makes you come across someone who holds the most petiest of grudges. Genuinely far more likely to happen the other way around. Argos is the easiest place to get away with returning a console after playing it because they rarely bother checking that the contents are unused when such things are returned. game on the other hand unless it's sealed (or broken) will always refuse those kind of returns (clinging onto that sweet £ :P). they'd always check them. when i worked there the instructions from head office were if it's not sealed they're not getting a refund under any circumstances (if it's faulty it's only supposed to be a replacement not refund, from my experiance if someone claims a console is faulty and they want a refund rather then a replacement, that's a sign something is a lil dodgy) if you genuinely recieved a preowned one, it'd either be 1) a simple mixup.(especially if ordered online, they're morons) 2) someone has gone out there way to scam a return (making it look sealed, if it's returned sealed you don't open it) or most likely, you noticed the seals weren't in tact and instantly jumped to the conclusion "oh it's been used" when in reality the seals microsoft/sony use on their hardware aren't anything more than crappy little circular stickers. everytime game get one delivered like that they inform microsoft/sony. fun fact these constant 'conversations' are why nintendo stopped sealing their hardware. obviously there's a chance you got unlucky, like there's a chance at every single retailer that sells consoles. but the idea that game are selling new consoles and giving a preowned one on a huge scale intentionally is 100% utter bs. there are third parties around to ensure stuff like that never happens, cause that's illegal, the company go out their way to not mess that crap up cause it'll cost them millions.

Oh my, looks like Argos are in on the difficult choice deals as well! I'll just buy that Xbox One X from Argos instead! At least ordering from Argos won't have the box already open and the console used. I know how bundles work, but cant I poke fun at a retailer that has worse pricing techniques than any other?

Think people have completely wrote this off before even looking at it properly!! Yesterday I traded: donkey Kong on switch Far cry 5 on xboxone God of war on ps4 Yakuza 0 on ps4 Lego avengers on ps4. Managed to get £150 trade which in my eyes is awesome! (Got £51 for donkey Kong... Yeah more than any mint price at the mo!) People always say that vex are better value, but I don't like having to disinfect myself after going in there let alone the s### smeared all over their stock (lol) (lol)

Could I use this for existing pre orders?

That's the nub right there. Stop paying and you've no access to the games. For some people they don't care as clearly they are happy paying for a rental service and that's fine. But then there's old school people like me who wish to own what they pay for. E.G. I want Fifa 17 so I'll happily pay £6 to own it forever. Whilst I'd love to be able to have the time to play all the other games I don't and neither do the majority of people. How many times have we all bought games that were going too cheap to ignore yet knew from the outset that we will never play them? Just another game to add to our ever increasing accounts just because....well just because it was cheap. It's a false economy IMO.

OK, so it includes some DLC then. And you don't get to keep the games if you stop paying ofc.

Not true. BF4, BF Hardline, Star Wars Battlefront, Titanfall, PVZ, Crysis 3, Mass Effect Andromeda, Mass Effect 3 and 2, Dragon Age: Origins are all the respective ultimate/deluxe/complete editions.

IIRC Origin Access does not include DLC.

Origin access is £19.99 for a year and includes every game on this list and some others like Cities Skylines, Mad Max, Prison Architect and the Mass Effect games. Unless you're really hung up on the idea of owning the game permanently, I'd defy anyone who is looking at more than 2 games on this list not to get their fix and better value from a year of Origin access. These aren't even the best discounts we've seen on these games, and they sure as hell aren't listing the actual normal prices, they're listing what they were at launch. Titanfall 2 has been £6.24 on Origin before, and £9.99 on Amazon, with the regular price being £24.99 not £49.99 like Game would have you believe their giving as a discount. Mirror's edge has been £3.99 from Amazon and has a regular price of £9.99 not £49.99 Battlefield 4 has been £3.75... you get the idea I'm not going to vote either way, because the fact remains these are probably the best prices if you're looking to buy today, but I would strongly encourage people to look at the Origin Access deal instead.

Very good story based game! I loved it 😁

I enjoyed it , it’s not going to be the best game you’ve played , but is enjoyable . shame there is no chance of a sequel as I does leave a pretty big opening to the plot

Great price - thank you :)

I loved it, definitely worth a £5

I really enjoyed this game easy 950G for me, the last boss fight had far too many rage quits on hard. Had enough and sold it. I enjoyed playing it through though on the 2nd time (final boss fight apart), so that has to say something.

Just to confirm that the disk arrived today and it installed fine with no issues whatsoever. Everything appears to be on disk, or it seemed to be as the disk started spinning each time it installed a character and the 3 seasons.

Oh... definitive that is not that definitive (shock) :/ ;(

Just a heads up I read a customer review on Amazon saying they bought this after owning some seasons and it didn't unlock everything so may need to do some extra research just to be safe?
