Details

Black Orchid is a sensuous, dark and dramatic fragrance which captures attention and holds it as the notes deepen and balance. The heart is deepened with the intoxicating Lotus Wood. The decadent Noir Gourmand Accord is balanced by Patchouli-incense and Vetiver. Vanilla tears add a fluid creaminess to warm Balsam and smooth Sandalwood.

    Very good price as seems to be £140 normally.

    If your bottle isn't performing maybe it just needs to settle. I would leave it in a dark place upright for a week or two and the composition will have had time to rest. This does help as i thought one of my bottles lacked performance.

    Dumb question but why does it have to be dark.
    It's in a black opaque bottle.
    No light can get in anyway.
    What if it does get in... Does it alter the chemistry?

    A lot of these will get cancelled as Argos simply will not have much stock of this. My advice would be to try and travel to a store which has availability for immediate collection.

    Iam confused.. Fragrantica lists this as woman perfume, not unisex. Also many reviews says it is very sweet and flowery which makes it more women than men perfume. It was a blind buy but not sure about it now

    Smells nice and you can spray it on your clothes and smell it 2 weeks l8a if not washed ha. The longevity probally makes it a very good bang for buck contender

    Just picked mine up and it's really nice. I can see why people think it leans to the feminine side, however it's definitely suitable for men - just down to your own personal preference. Will have to see how long it lasts, but there's no doubt it's worth the £75 considering RRP.

    Got mine today ,and I'm on the dissapointed side,after half an hour I need to go close to my skin to smell it,cracking smell but very poor projection

    Mine's lasting around an hour and is generally very faint after that. I contacted Tom Ford to explain that when compared to other fragrances of theirs I've tried it seems to have poor longevity, just to see whether or not it might be a dodgy batch. They got back to me and told me that as I bought it from Argos they can't help me because Argos isn't an authorized retailer of Tom Ford, which is a little disappointing. It's an amazing fragrance and hopefully people are correct that the longevity will improve after leaving it a month or so.
