Wearing them right now 😃, don't expect rigid boots these are soft, you'll feel every stone, grips wear pretty quickly too, still dry as a bone and warm, insole slips like mad, comfy though and broke in straight away, so depends if you want support or soft. Hope that helps.

I have these for walking fields and canals. They’re really comfy and will probably last me a few years.

If you’re walking on hard ground or rough terrain you will feel the stones/rocks through the sole. I doubt they’ll last more than 12 months in that case too. (edited)

Mixed reviews on waterproof qualities and durability. Has anyone got first hand experience of these?

Bought a pair of Regatta waterproof hiking boots at the beginning of last year and after 3 months they began leaking. I took them back to the outlet at Dalton Park with my receipt and to be fair they were brilliant, as they upgraded me to a Regatta leather pair for free. Unfortunately they leaked after a few months so returned them and they were so apologetic hence I opted for a pair of there better boots (Craghoppers) and a few months on and no leaks as yet.

To be fare wouldn’t buy another Regatta pair of boots even for £28 as don’t like having cold wet feet. I only dog walk no extreme terrain and they didn’t last but the aftercare Regatta gave is second to none. Craghoppers come with a two year guarantee as long as you keep your receipt. (edited)

Waterproof for £28 i doubt it very much.

I bought Scarpa GTX a long time ago and they are the real deal and worth the money. 25km hikes through snow, marsh and everything you get up mountains and feet bone dry. Any 1/2 serious hiker knows you can't scrooge on boots.

Regatta are not the best quality. I would avoid.

I want boots for playing disc golf in. Requires resilience to twisting on a heel and water resistance.

Had regatta before that disintegrated after a few months. Bit reluctant to purchase again.

I have these, as others state they are very thin and I feel every stone, I would not buy again.
